  I’m sorry for this review, but for four people at supper last night, was $230. Each person had a salad, main dish and soft drinks. Birthday lady was very disappointed in the food. Cesar salad had one small layer of chipped up lettuce, and barely anything else, hardly any dressing ($17 & up) salad so small for the price. One person got an appetizer, 2 adults had 2 beers at $7 each. Main dish ranged from $30 to &40 and up per person. Chicken Parmesan, chicken tasted pre-cooked and sat aside for the marinara sauce and noodles.. Bread was horrible, like cardboard. One person said, I don’t know why we’re taking left overs home, we’re just going to throw them away. We will never go back and definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

  I had the privilege of going to mom and dads when it was a small, quaint mom and pop business off of Apalachee parkway back in the day. The food was always amazing and for years, they hosted my cousin and I’s birthday every year as we shared a mutual love for spaghetti. He has since passed from CF and I was always hesitant to go back after they moved into the bannerman location. I worried it would never be the same for so many reasons. But as fate would have it, I got caught in a horrible storm earlier this year. They weren’t open and they were not going to be open for a bit but they opened their doors to me to come sit inside to stay dry. The staff welcomed me as if they’d known me their whole life while prepping for dinner service. We talked. Laughed. It felt like home. Tonight I had the time to come and enjoy a fabulous meal for the first time in what must be a decade or more. The fried lobster ravioli was exquisite. The spaghetti…chefs kiss. The service? Amazing. Even with their move to bannerman, they’ve maintained the mom and pop atmosphere and service. 100/10 recommend.

  I would share a picture of the long hair my daughter pulled out of her meal after waiting over an hour to receive our lukewarm food while being told the reason for the wait was that 125 people all walked in at the same time that we never saw, but I wouldn’t want to ruin your night too.

  Ordered dinner for take out and received a text message to be there in 25 minutes. When I showed up, they had not even received my order, once they clicked their ipad then it came through. Meanwhile 5-6 female servers were hanging out in the area when I walked in yet apparently noone had started working or checked their system. When I said I ordered 25 mins ago, their answer was that “it just came in”. How is that the customer’s problem or an explanation for the customer… I asked to rush the order and showed the text message with the order receipt. They referred me to their manager who showed very little empathy and did not quite own the problem- said they use a 3rd party system and that’s the issue. The restaurant is still the one that makes the money and chooses which system to use so once again this is not the way to handle a mess up. Own it, apologize sincerely not just say oh sorry it just came in, and fix it. Stood around for 20-25 minutes for what was supposed to be a quick pick up while caring for sick family at home. It is ridiculous how noone takes pride in what they do and own it anymore. Very disappointing

  Nick, the new GM hired earlier this year, has made a significant impact on this restaurant. I had dinner twice within the last couple of weeks and food and service was very good both times. Nick stopped by the table both evenings which added that personal touch "from the top." Last night's server, Sean, handled service expertly, pleasantly, and timely. I ordered Chicken Marsala both evenings (yes, I enjoyed it that much). The portions are large, the brushetta is outstanding and of course wine. I always make a reservation when possible to avoid a potential wait. If you were disappointed in past years, give them another opportunity -- glad I did.
