  I was in recently and while I normally enjoy Chipotle, this one needs a lot of work. There is a lot of smoking oil in the air. I would guess their hood isn’t working properly to get rid of the exhaust. Lines were long but that’s a god sign. The cleanliness was terrible with all sorts of ingredients on the counter and in wrong containers. I’m gluten and dairy free and there was a lot wrong and no cleaning in between customers. I ordered two bowls and the amount of extra sour cream and cheese and other remnants of past burritos was incredible. Every bowl and burrito on the line had no choice but to have food on the bottom as it went by. The cross contamination was intense. Cheese everywhere in each container, drips from salsas, beans…. You get the photo. I see a review that has a photo attached and you can see down the line to show what I’m talking about. I couldn’t order guacamole as there was too much other stuff that I can’t have in the bin. It’s time for constant training as I’m sure these are all college students that work here. Food safety must be a top priority. I realize I have additional requirements but even if not, I wouldn’t have Ben happy with this experience.

  The food was fresh and hot. But I will never come back here again. To me when I go and choose to spend $17 on meal for myself I choose also to have an experience. The service was fast but fast doesn’t always mean great. The attitudes from every employee I encounter seriously took me back. I shouldn’t feel my food being made with hostility. I wanted to dine in originally but after the service i received it was quite pathetic and very disappointing. You don’t have to work if you aren’t going to at least have basic customer service. I was rushed when I was just asking questions about their new chicken and to even add chips to my order…. This place truly is so damn sad. And I would love to seriously put all the employees thru a true customer service training. DO BETTER. This isn’t McDonalds and Tallahassee is ghetto enough, we don’t need people with shit attitude staining the food

  Eat here if you wanna vomit! No utensils no napkins food on the floor. Might as well starve! The chicken is like a gum but with spice on it. Worst place to go eat. Terrible manager! Terrible customer service! Thanks for making me vomit after eating. The only side available was sour cream they too lazy to be cooking. They get paid for nothing! Kick every single worker out there. Chipotle ruined its name with opening this store.

  I ordered a chicken bowl and told the young lady I will pay for another scoop of chicken she put literally 2 more pieces of chicken on that spoon and passed my bowl down for the 2nd employee to put my veggies on I had a total of 7 pieces of chicken in my bowl (I Counted) however once I began eating my bowl I was so underwhelmed is this even real chicken every single bite was gummy and chewy and when did chipotle stop seasoning the food i I had to add my own seasonings I didn't even finish the bowl it was so disappointing I knew I should have went to Jersey mikes next door. Do NOT GO HERE

  I am writing to report a very disappointing and disturbing experience I had yesterday at the Chipotle location on Tennessee Street in Tallahassee. I arrived at approximately 11:07 PM, and I was shocked by the condition of the restaurant. Trash was filled to the top, tables were dirty, and the overall restaurant looked extremely unclean and poorly maintained. The food service was also concerning. There were pans and food containers stacked around the hot and cold food areas while employees were serving customers. The way everything was set up looked extremely unorganized and, in my opinion, raised serious concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. The employee serving me was a young Black male wearing a durag and large glasses. He was extremely impatient and rushed me while I was trying to decide what I wanted. He told me that I needed to tell him everything I wanted at once. He had no way of knowing whether this was my first time eating at Chipotle or whether I needed additional time to decide. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and memory loss, so being rushed in that manner was especially upsetting for me. Customers should be given reasonable time to decide what they want without being made to feel like they are holding up the line. After my food was prepared, I was so uncomfortable with the entire experience that I left the food there and did not eat it. I was also told that they were out of vinaigrette for the night. The cashier also had an attitude, which made the experience even worse. As I was walking out, the same employee who had rushed me asked the cashier why I didn't want the food. I found that extremely inappropriate. If he was supposed to be preparing food, I don't understand why he was concerning himself with my interaction with the cashier. At that point, I simply walked away because I did not want the situation to escalate. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I have visited the Chipotle location near FSU, and the difference was night and day. The FSU location was clean, organized, welcoming, and the employees were polite and did not rush me. It looked like a restaurant that was well maintained and cared for. The Tennessee Street location, on the other hand, looked dirty, poorly maintained, and in need of immediate attention. I am requesting that management take this complaint seriously and investigate the Tennessee Street location, particularly regarding cleanliness, sanitation, food handling, and employee conduct toward customers. Based on the conditions I observed, I also intend to contact the appropriate health department regarding the sanitation concerns. I understand that employees can have difficult days, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Employees also need to understand that they never know what someone may be dealing with when they interact with them. I am a disabled veteran, and the way I was treated was extremely upsetting and unnecessary. I hope management addresses both the condition of this restaurant and the way customers are being treated. I have had a completely different and positive experience at the Chipotle near FSU, so I know that this level of service and cleanliness is not representative of every Chipotle location.
