At around 7:55 PM, the cashier, who was a light-skinned girl, was extremely rude and disrespectful toward both me and my friend. Her attitude toward us made us feel very uncomfortable and honestly offended. What made the situation even more upsetting was that the customer directly in front of us, who was not white, seemed to be treated completely differently and much more respectfully. I obviously cannot say for sure why we were treated differently, but the difference in the way she interacted with us was noticeable enough that it made me and my friend question whether our race had something to do with it. Regardless of the reason, no customer should feel disrespected or uncomfortable simply while trying to order food. Customer service should be respectful and professional toward everyone. After this experience, I will not be returning to this location unless the staff is properly retrained on how to treat customers with basic respect and professionalism. This was an extremely disappointing experience.
- CBCandi BSep 17, 20261.0We meant to go back to the Chipotle near our hotel (where the service was good), but erroneously selected the Chipotle in the Sawgrass Mall food court in the Uber app. As we approached there was a young man digging/deep scratching his uncovered head, another young man kept yawning, and the young woman who we eventually gave our order was very cold and unpleasant. The food was consistent with what we got at the Chipotle we wanted to go to, but the overall vibe at the Chipotle in Sawgrass Mall food court was off putting.
