I’ve always preferred evaluating new pizza spots with a simple baseline: a plain cheese pizza. In my experience, if a kitchen can execute the fundamentals well, everything else on the menu tends to follow suit.
I visited this spot after catching a movie at the theater nearby, and it immediately stood out from the surrounding options. From the moment the pizza arrived at the table, there was a clear sense of care in its presentation and preparation. The first bite confirmed it this exceeded expectations.
The texture was particularly well executed: a balanced bite with a crisp, properly developed crust that avoided any excessive greasiness. The cheese was thoughtfully applied, delivering a clean, well-rounded flavor without overwhelming the base.
While I typically avoid numerical ratings when it comes to pizza, I will say this is a strong example of quality, freshly prepared pizza done right. For anyone in the area especially post movie in the plaza it’s a standout option worth returning to
This family owned restaurant is the best little thing ever. The food is always fresh and delicious, also all the workers are super nice. 100% recommend 😍

I’m so happy I discovered this new local pizza spot! The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic. Everything was fresh, high-quality, and served with a smile. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back soon!!

Unfortunately the food was not good. Pizza was ok, edible at least. Chicken parm was a bit dry lacked in taste. The worst of it was the side of spaghetti, I took one bite and almost threw it back up, didn’t want to be rude. The sauce was what really tasted bad. I really hope they change the recipes for the better.
The service of the staff was the only great thing, they were quick and attentive. I tipped them well because they deserved it

I wanted to give Amalfi’s Pizza a try since it’s close to home. We ordered takeout since the place is super bright and does not give a warm Italian feeling, gives supermarket vibee. Maybe some folks like this but not me. Unfortunately the food was pretty underwhelming. The pepperoni pizza was just okay, very basic and nothing to rave about. The price for a large pepperoni pizza was good, but I’ve paid a little more elsewhere and had much better quality overall, better ingredients, better pepperoni, better sauce, better cheese, and a better crust. (Like i mentioned this place is new and close to home so I gave it a shot).
We also tried the tiramisu, and while it wasn’t the worst I’ve had, it definitely wasn’t the best either. The portion size was much smaller than expected, especially if it’s meant to be shared between two people or based on how it appears online. It was also a bit dry, which was disappointing.
Overall, I think this place has potential, but the food just wasn’t there for us. I hope they can improve because I do think they could do better. For now, I’d give it 2 out of 5 stars.
