  Food was great! Service was superb! Baija (our server) was attentive-accurate-personable & extremely accommodating! Kudos. We ordered; pasta carbonara, chicken calzone, garlic knots, 2 salads, lasagna soup, tiramisu…. everything was awesome. Baija thank you for your smiling positive attitude. 😁 Greg, Jana & Jan

  Beware! New owners! Service was abysmal. Only ones inside the entire time and service was slow, not attentive as we ordered 1/2 dozen knots and they were never put in. Prices have skyrocketed in cost. Salads that used to come with pastas like the baked ziti are no longer included. Food quality is mixed between what it was and lesser than. The restaurant is on the decline and prices are inflating. Hoping for a turnaround, but pessimistic after that last outing.

  Luna Italian Restaurant at one time used to be one of the most outstanding Italian restaurants in our area. I've been a frequent diner for decades. Tonight was not a good experience. Beginning with our booth, which is probably decades old, lol, we sank into the metal cushions. We arrived early, 5:30 pm, to dine before Walter Trout concert at Lyric. We reviewed the beverage menu, and I ordered Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Our server said no, only Barefoot Chardonnay (really?,) I was prepared to order some other Italian white wine and she abruptly left to say I'll give you more time before asking others at table for their beverage order. Literally 10 minutes later, she came back to ask for our drink order and by then we were ready to order. Our salads came out 3 times with wrong dressing, meant for a different table, or she forgot what we ordered. Then garlic knots, which are usually to die for, but were dry, over baked or leftover from yesterday. Their house salad dressing was as good as always. Lettuce salad with 3 pepperoni slices and nothing else. My eggplant parm was usual. And the pizza ordered was excellent. It was the 24th birthday of my son, Blake, who died tragically almost 3 yrs ago due to accident. We were planning to order a dessert but it was never offered to us, our server hurriedly put check on table. After waiting more than 30 minutes for wine and beer reorder, our server apologized for service, saying they were short staffed, we just paid and left. Service was horrible. The kitchen was on spot with food, and it's unfortunate with cost of dining out that food is average and service is so inefficient. Pizza is really good, nothing else really. There must be new owners or change. Our server was confused and flustered all night. Please do better, Luna. There is so much competition in the Italian restaurant business. We were really disappointed after being longtime customers. Edited: When ordering dinner, she asked if I wanted salad for up charge, Isaid it doesn't come with salad, she said no. The menu clearly states dinners come with 2 knots and choice of soup or salad. The upcharge was 8.00!! Please update menu!
