Wait here with me and my co worker and this was an awesome place to try out! And I see how hype are those biscuits was nice and crispy and buttery honey on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside .. definitely yall needs to check this place out!
This is my new forever chicken spot now! It taste like home! The chicken is seasoned perfectly and juicy. The biscuts are soooo good and the fries are tasty. The chicken sandwhich is the best in town hands down. I will never go back to Salem's again! I give this place 10 out of 10! Great food, good people and awesome service.
If you’re thinking of trying this place… DO IT. (First off, I think I’ve written 3 reviews my entire life. Kings was so good I had to!) We are already talking about going back and plan to tell our friends + family members about it. We don’t eat out often and tend to be picky but would choose this place over and over again!
The honey biscuits were hands down the best biscuits we’ve ever had.
The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, something that is nearly impossible to achieve.
Did I mention that it was served fresh!?
My son said their corn was “scrumptious”.
Restaurant was clean! Service was great, everyone was friendly!
Give this place a shot & support a local business. You’ll leave knowing that on a busy night or when you don’t wanna cook- you’ll never struggle with the question of “where do we wanna eat?”… the answer will be Kings Chicken & Biscuits!
The decor is nice, restaurant clean. I feel it was rather pricey. When the food came out it was hot and fresh. We spent $55 for a 12 piece with 4 biscuits and 3 sides(I want to add that the size of the sides offered should be for a meal for a single person) and 5 drinks. The biscuits were amazing!!! Top tier. The fries were good too. But the chicken was incredibly salty. Maybe they brine it and then season the chicken and the flour before frying. Idk. It was just too much. My kids couldnt even finish it. The Mac n cheese was dry. Like I dont know if sauce or cheese was on it at all. The okra needed salt. Just a huge imbalance. The strawberry lemonade was not worth the up charge ans needed more sugar. I mean we drove 2 hours to support. So im hoping it was just an off day. But at the prices I dont think i can afford to make the drive to find out.
I came here because of the good reviews, but unfortunately my experience was completely different.
While waiting, I watched the cook pick up a couple pieces of chicken with two bare fingers. The cashier noticed that I had seen it, and shortly afterward the cook put gloves on.
My fries were brought to the counter and sat there for about 20 minutes while I waited for the rest of my order. By the time I got my food, the fries were cold and the bread was soggy.
Then the cashier dropped my bag of food on the floor, picked it up, and handed it directly to me like nothing happened. To be fair, the food was wrapped in foil and inside the bag, so I’m not saying the food itself touched the floor.
I said, “Really? You just dropped my food on the floor.” He looked at me dumbfounded and said nothing. No apology, no acknowledgment, and no offer to even re-bag my order.
Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters. Between the food handling, cold fries, soggy bread, and the complete lack of customer service, I threw the order away.
$19.24 straight in the trash. No bueno. I won’t be returning.
