If you want the experience of eating authentic Indian food in your living room with your whole family this is the place to try. The food is incredible, and the service is the absolute best. Our first experience tonight was like eating at my Indian grandmothers house for the first time. The food was AMAZING and after dinner the owner came by to ask if everything was okay and why we didn’t finish our food haha, she demanded we take we take it home so we didn’t get hungry later tonight. This isn’t customer service that can be bought, only experienced. We will be back as soon as we run out of leftovers
Absolutely enjoyed our experience here. We didn’t browse for any other Indian restaurant in this area.. went straight up for the brunch and dinner all 2 days we stayed at bahama house, Daytona beach.
They provide authentic North Indian and South Indian cuisine food. Super friendly and caring staff and management.
Would love to visit again.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant! I only go to this one in Daytona Beach and I’ve tried all of them!! The butter chicken is absolutely delicious, and the eggplant dish is one of the best I've ever had. The buffet is phenomenal, with a great variety of fresh, flavorful dishes. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always goes out of their way to make sure every guest has a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Indian food!
When I first started going to this restaurant over a year ago, everything was 5 stars across the board for food, service and atmosphere. They were a little pricier on the buffet than other Indian restaurants ($25-30/person), but it was well worth it, and it was family oriented and quiet. Now, the food quality/flavor of the dishes has gone down a little as well as the service and atmosphere. They play Indian music videos all over the restaurant, which I personally find a little distracting. The third to last time I visited their restaurant, my Mother asked the male owner, I believe, with the turban, if we could sit somewhere other than under one of their TVs with the Indian music, as any noise made her already painful migraine worse. We weren't sure if he said "O.M.G!" out of frustration or out of surprise that that could bother her, but did proceed to seat us somewhere else. It kind of rubbed us the wrong way, and did return two more times after that to give them the benefit of the doubt as they had provided impeccable service in the past, but the food quality and atmosphere did not improve. I will give them another chance next time I'm in the area, but that may be a while. I hope they improve and cook their dishes like they did when they first opened. If they did, I would visit more often.
Absolutely delicious! This was my first time trying Ammrit, and I’m already looking forward to going back. I ordered the pani puri, fried rice, and a mango lassi, and everything was amazing. The pani puri was such a fun experience—crispy, flavorful, tangy, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned and had so much flavor, and the mango lassi was creamy, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal.
Everything tasted fresh, and I loved getting to try flavors that were new to me. If you’ve never tried Indian food or pani puri before, this is a great place to start. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. 10/10! ❤️
