  Sometimes, a change of plans turns into the best surprise. We originally intended to visit a different BBQ spot, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it didn't work out. My son was shipping out for the Navy the very next day, and all he wanted for his send-off meal was good BBQ. He stumbled across Kojak’s, and I am so glad we landed here! Knowing they’ve been family-owned since the 70s sets the stage, but the staff—who are the family themselves—truly made the experience. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home like we were part of their own family. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the pulled pork dinner with mac 'n' cheese and parsley potatoes, and every single bite was incredible. In fact, everything was so good that we actually kept going back to order more! We finished the meal with their fresh apple cake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. I cannot recommend Kojak’s highly enough, and I already can't wait to come back. Don't sleep on this place—they will not disappoint. My only regret is that we didn't discover it sooner!

  Ordered online which was a breeze and the food was ready in no time! The food was OUTSTANDING! I’m glad they’re much closer now - in Seffner.

  3pm on a Tuesday.. worried it may be leftover on a hot plate from rush hour.. nope. Fantastic food. Ribs, green beans, and parsley potato’s were great!

  Doing BBQ right!! Took 4 friends from out of State today all police officers from a BBQ State and each one said it was the best they have ever had. You can mark off all the boxes at this place I know I did today. Thanks for being in business all these years.

  It’s no surprise this place has been in business for nearly 50 years! From start to finish, it was a truly great experience. My hubby and I split the 3 meat plate, added a couple of extra sides and corn muffins. Everything — and I mean everything — was delicious! Service and hospitality were also top tier. And please leave room for dessert…the homemade apple cake is a must try! So happy we found this place. We’re already looking forward to our next trip 🤗
