This is probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.
I’ve been going to the same spot for my wings for 10+ years, but today I decided to try Wings N Things since it’s right around the corner from me. I placed my order online at 6:40 PM and received a text saying it would be ready by 7:15 PM.
I arrived at 7:10 PM and immediately felt uncomfortable and out of place. There was no host stand or indication of where to go—I essentially walked into a bar. I told the bartender I was picking up an online order, and he simply said, “I’ll get to it, just wait.” He didn’t ask my name or provide any other information.
I sat at the bar and waited. At around 7:20, he finally asked my name. About five minutes later, he came back and asked for my name again. Meanwhile, I watched other customers receive their food while I continued waiting. At 7:30, I could see into the kitchen and realized they hadn’t even started my order.
When I mentioned that I had already been waiting 15 minutes and that my order had been placed nearly 50 minutes earlier, I was simply told they were busy and would get to it. Not once did anyone offer me a drink or even acknowledge the excessive wait.
Around 7:40, I was told my order was “next,” and I literally watched them put my wings into the fryer. How does an order placed at 6:40 PM not get started until 7:40 PM?
After waiting over an hour, I finally received my food—about 30 minutes after the promised pickup time.
Unfortunately, the food wasn’t worth the wait. The fries were completely unseasoned and bland, and the wings were awful. I ordered 10 wings—half hot sauce and half house sauce—but they all appeared to have the same flavor, and honestly, it was not good. I could barely eat half of them before throwing the rest away.
I won’t be returning. The service was extremely poor, the wait time was unacceptable, and the food was disappointing. There are plenty of places that serve good wings, and this simply isn’t one of them.
