  Such a cute and clean place. Service with smile. Great choices for breakfast or lunch. Glad I finally stopped in and definitely will be back. Shrimp and Grits 😋

  great stop on Tamiami Trail. The food is great and varied. My strawberry salad with chicken was exceptional. Tried the Vanilla Chai latte- delicious. Highly recommend !

  They were quite busy for Sunday brunch, we were greeted by a smiling hostess named Natalie. She was kept busy with customers coming in, but also managed to clear/clean tables. Our server, Zach F. took our order and the food came quickly and accurately. He checked back on us several times. The food was very good, as well as the cleanliness. Our only comment is the high noise level probably due to the high ceiling, made it difficult to hear the people at your own table.

  I have to give a big thank you to Michael, co-owner of this establishment. He went above and beyond to offer assistance. My father and I were parked in the handicap spot, my father started to walk up the sidewalk and lost his balance and fell. Michael came out to make sure everything was OK, he insisted on walking us into the restaurant and after we finished breakfast, he walked us out. He checked on us several times while we ate. but I also have to say, that the handicap spaces are in the wrong place and need to be moved, the purpose of the handicap space is to be closer to the entrance, not further away, other than that, this is a really good place to eat.

  I have been a longtime patron of The Toasted Yolk Cafe in Sarasota since they opened and have enjoyed dining here many times, which makes today’s experience especially disappointing. I dined this afternoon and chose to sit on the pup-friendly patio. Unfortunately, the service was practically nonexistent. I felt largely forgotten throughout my visit and received very little attention from the staff. To make matters worse, my breakfast was inedible. The food was overcooked and so overly salty that I could not enjoy it. Between the lack of service and the poor quality of the meal, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had here. As a longtime customer, I know this restaurant is capable of much better, which is why today’s visit was so disappointing. I hope management takes a closer look at both the level of service being provided on the patio and the consistency coming out of the kitchen.
