  Love Main Bar - a long time, favorite Sarasota lunch spot! Huge menu, delicious sandwiches, soups, casual and friendly atmosphere. Sad that downtown SRQ makes you pay to park these days, but there are ways around that! Try Main Bar! You won’t be disappointed! (Be aware that it can get crowded during the downtown workers’ lunch time, but there’s a fairly quick turnover.)

  We absolutely love this place! We are from NY and come to Siesta Key every year. A friend of ours told us about this great place and we make sure it is a Must while we are here and a stop on the way to the airport. 🩷 It is a MUST try for sure

  Stopped in with my daughter today for a sandwich and a soup. BEST sandwich ever! Highly highly recommend the roast beef. Staff was so warm and kind and helped us pick our food based on recommendations. Sorry I didn’t take a pic we inhaled it too quickly. Looking forward to going back.

  If you're anywhere near downtown Sarasota, you absolutely have to make time for lunch at The Main Bar Sandwich Shop. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment you walk through the doors, the amazing and incredibly friendly staff welcomes you and makes you feel right at home. It’s rare to find that level of genuine, warm hospitality. The food is simply phenomenal. The menu is packed with an array of amazing sandwiches and comforting soups, but the absolute standout for me is the Reuben Sandwich. The perfectly toasted rye, the generous portion of savory corned beef, melted Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and that classic 1000 Island dressing—it is perfectly balanced and hands-down one of the best around. Pair it with a hot cup of their daily soup, and you have the ultimate lunch combination. Beyond the incredible food and stellar service, there is a much bigger reason to keep coming back.
