  Paulina was our server and she was stellar. You really trust a server who is honest about selections and customer likes and dislikes. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were amazing—-except, they were salty. Common in lots of restaurants, line cooks have no idea the cumulative affect of seasoning foods. In this case, it was black beans. They salt the water they cook them in, then they salt the beans, then they add cheese—that is salty, and some salsa verde—that is salty, and finally, for good measure someone adds just a bit more salt for good measure. What you get is salty, with the texture of black beans. The manager, was also amazing. He walked straight to the kitchen and sampled the beans. Walked straight back to the table and said, “You are absolutely correct; we are pulling that entire pan.” So, okay, it’s still a seasoning awareness for kitchen staff. Seasoning is supposed to be light, not overwhelming. All that said, Pauline took care of us and we are impressed with her abilities. We highly recommend Rocco’s Tacos.

  We had a great time at Rocco’s Tacos. We arrived around 5:30pm just in time to catch happy hour at the bar while we waited for our table. Once seated the atmosphere was very fun. We had an amazing server named Paulina. She was so sweet and since we had never been there before she helped explain the menu and answer any questions we had. My husband and I were there celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and she was so sweet about it. Sue even listened to us talk about our children. My husband got the pork belly tacos and I got the Birria tacos and decided to share them so we could each try both and they were both Great! We also got the queso Fundido with chorizo at Paulina’s recommendation since we were in the mood for something cheesy for our appetizer and it was also delicious. After a wonderful experience tonight and multiple fun Margaritas 🤪 we’re already planning our next trip back. We even took a sneak peek at the kids menu since it seemed like a very family friendly restaurant so that we’ll ring our kids next time too. Who knows maybe even come for all you can eat Taco Tuesday next time. 🤗🥰

  I had such an amazing experience at Rocco’s Tacos in Sarasota, and I especially want to thank Elizabeth for making my birthday night so special! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Her positive energy and genuine care really stood out and made the whole experience unforgettable. The food and atmosphere were great, but Elizabeth’s service truly made the night. Thank you again for making my birthday feel so celebrated!! I’ll definitely be coming back just to see Elizabeth!!

  I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this experience really stood out. Keely gave us some of the best service we’ve had in a long time. she was friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout. She’s also absolutely beautiful, which just adds to the overall experience. The recommendations she gave us were really good, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and cares about her guests. Everything felt smooth and effortless because of her. You’re very lucky to have someone like Keely on your team! we’ll definitely be back!

  We had an amazing experience at this taco spot, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Keely. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. She took the time to walk us through the menu, gave spot-on recommendations, and made sure everything came out just right.Her energy was warm and genuine, and she made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. If you’re lucky enough to have Keely as your server, you will love the experience. She absolutely elevated our visit—can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend the wet beef burrito and the tres leches.
