  I had called in a carryout order 2 hours in advance for an important meeting I was catering to. I showed up and the worker had locked herself out of the store. My pickup time was at 11:30. She informed me that the pizzas weren’t even cooking yet. Once she got someone to bring her the key to the store- a gentleman was in the back making my pizzas with his shirt off. Ended up not getting my food until 12. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

  They told me my pizza would be ready in 17 minutes. Seventeen minutes turned into over an hour. During that time, employees were making food for themselves to take home instead of prioritizing paying customers. No one acknowledged the customers who had been waiting. But the moment I asked for a refund, suddenly everyone was "busy." They also had plenty of time to walk next door to Chevron to buy drinks for themselves and their coworkers. While Customers were left in the establishment “ Diego “ a wana be “manager “ i guess they left in charge ….. To make matters worse, I walked in and could smell marijuana. Then I watched employees handling their phones with their bare hands and immediately touching customers' food afterward. I didn't see anyone wearing gloves or washing their hands before preparing food. The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and questionable food-handling practices made this a very disappointing experience. I won't be returning.

  PLACED AN ORDER THROUGH THE APP AND, HONESTLY, AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE I HAVE NO INTEREST IN EVER BEING A CUSTOMER AGAIN. By mistake, I forgot to include my apartment number when placing the order. I acknowledge that this was my error. However, the app showed that my order had been delivered when I never received it. I called the restaurant to ask for an explanation, and they told me they do not have their own drivers and that I needed to contact DoorDash. When I called DoorDash, they told me the issue had to be resolved by Papa Johns. In other words, no one took responsibility for my order. What is most disappointing is that the driver never called me, never sent me a message, and did not leave the food at the leasing office or return it to the restaurant. He simply marked the order as delivered and disappeared. I went outside to look for the driver and my order, but there was nothing there. To make matters worse, the restaurant’s order-tracking system does not work properly, making the entire experience even more frustrating. This has been, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. The lack of responsibility, communication, and customer service is unacceptable. I can only imagine how many other customers have been left without their food under similar circumstances. My rating: Restaurant: 0/10 Delivery Service: 0/10 Customer Service: 0/10 This was definitely my first and last experience with this restaurant.

  The app said my pizza was ready for pickup, so I walked into the store, there were people waiting and none of the employees acknowledged anyone or came to the register. More than five minutes passed, after which an employee placed a finished pizza on a rack where there were several other pizzas. It was to the side of the counter by the drink fridge. The employee made eye contact, then ubruptly turned around and returned to the back without acknowledging anyone. I thought, maybe we are supposed to find our pizzas on this rack and take them (this was my first time), so I looked and my pizza was there, getting cold. So, I grabbed it and the same employee started yelling at me with a loud, booming voice, and after I gave him my name and said no one was monitoring the counter, he continued to yell at the top of his lungs while I left in a hurry, scared at that point. Worse than that, the pizza was gross. Needless to say, we won't ever be back to any Papa John's. We recently tried Five Star pizza (I think it is a local chain) for takeout amd it was much better.
