- LDLorraine DiDio,oef6 days ago1.0Jake at the front desk was great! I give him 5 stars. The rest of the hotel was quite horrible for so many reasons, too many to list. Never informed that their amenities like the restaurant or bar was closed. Had no hotwater on the first day. Had to fight every morning for my Free Included Breakfast to be free! And it was always cold and they never mentioned $40.00 a day parking fee until check out! Personally I would never stay here again.

We also got missed by room service on our third day, and had a problem with ants in the bathroom. Location was very convenient, only a few minutes from most of the fun things and places in Sarasota! The front desk staff were lovely, and the beach equipment rentals SUPER convenient.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, the hotel and its staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Rich, the driver, is absolutely wonderful and such a great resource for nearby outings and recommendations. Him and Scott at the front desk are one of the most welcoming and accommodating people I’ve ever encountered. The rest of the staff were great as well! The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is just moments away from all the attractions, and they offer complimentary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius, bikes, beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, and even beach toys. All of those extras made my stay with a 5-year-old that much easier and more enjoyable. I’m seriously thinking about making Sarasota a yearly visit with this hotel. Just OUTSTANDING from start to finish!
