  excellent lunch!!! had the queso as an appetizer. i’m a queso fanatic and this was one of the best. shrimp tacos were on point. the colombian coffee flan was the perfect end to a great meal. bonus that the entire menu is completely gluten free. definitely go and try them out!!

  We LOVE Comida! Since finding this place about 2 months ago we've been here at least six times, bringing friends and family with us. They went above and beyond on our wedding anniversary and always bring an incredible energy when we have guests with us. We've gotten to know the staff well and love our experience every time. Food is the closest we've EVER found to authentic Latin food like we get out of the country. Plus it's at our level of healthy, no gluten and no seed oils. It's really a treat coming here, and never dissapoints.

  We ate lunch at Comida during our weekend getaway to Sarasota, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. I started with the chicken tamales and had the Milanesa fried chicken for my entree, and both were superb. Everyone in our group loved their food. Our server, Robert, was excellent. He was genuinely kind and attentive. If I lived closer, Comida would absolutely become a regular spot for me. Great food and great service. An absolute must-visit if you’re in Sarasota!

  We had a fantastic dinner here. Robert was our server. He made sure our drinks were always topped off and our food came out hot! The only thing that I would say is the restaurant is a bit warm. Other than the temperature everything else was delicious. Highly recommend!

  We had such a great evening at Comida! Looking at the menu, we weren’t sure there would be much for our 4-year-old, but they were so accommodating and made it work without hesitation. Robert, our waiter, was wonderful. He went out of his way to make sure our daughter was taken care of and had something she would actually enjoy, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and everything we ordered was excellent. We were there celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they even surprised him with a chocolate cake and a candle at the end of dinner. Such a nice touch! Great food, genuinely kind service, and a really wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!
