  I ordered Cava the Greek salad with added steak as well as chicken. Instead came a rice bowl? With no arugula, no salad and no chicken. I ordered an hour before they closed I didn’t realise standards dropped so low at this time. Completely incompetent and would never order again, would not recommend!

  I had a very large last minute lunch order yesterday, I had placed an order elsewhere and it has been cancelled and the staff here saved the day for me and my office. They were so nice and didn't give me a hard time about the large order at all. They were super helpful with suggestions and very very fast getting it all together for me. I will absolutely come back and order from here ahead of time for my next work event. Thank you cava employees

  I was served today by Grayson and Miguel! I had such a good experience. We were traveling from Gainesville as my son had been transferred there for open heart surgery. He is currently being transported back to Sarasota Memorial. We have had a brutal, emotionally exhausting few weeks. I stopped here to charge our car. Thought we would try this place as we waited for my son’s ambulance to get to SMH. These two guys made my night. You never know what someone is going through. They had no clue about my situation but they still managed to brighten my long day! These employees are keepers and should be recognized. I have been in the restaurant industry for 35 years. When you see good ones you know!

  I kind of like this restaurant model, where you throw a bunch of tasty things together in a bowl, or pita, and go. Not my style of ambiance, (a bustling cafeteria vibe)- so I opted to take it home. It's a bit pricey for a chain but- I made 2 meals out of the bowl, so I will be back. They offer well seasoned Mediterranean food, with a varried assortment of treats you can layer. The pita chips (fried bread, I mean.. c'mon) were a nice pairing.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, as I understand every business faces challenges and working in the hospitality industry myself, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable staff. However, this time I felt compelled to share what was truly one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. We arrived around 10pm, still 30 minutes before closing. The kitchen staff were leaning on the counter scrolling on their phones and laughing, completely ignoring guests walking in. The person serving the food had their back turned, joining in on the conversation, while someone who appeared to be cleaning tables moved with a completely indifferent attitude. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the pick station was in a disgraceful state. It was immediately clear that our server had no interest in attending to us. Portions were noticeably small, with no effort made to refill anything. When we asked for steak, we were told there was none left. At 10pm, I genuinely cannot understand why it would not be possible to prepare one, especially as we were willing to wait. Given that the kitchen staff were occupied with their phones, perhaps that explains it. The toppings were equally unavailable, rather than refilling them, staff simply said they were out. Then, at barely 10:30pm, before closing time, they began blasting loud music from the kitchen while we were still eating. We have visited at similar hours before and received excellent, attentive service, which shows the team is capable of better. It is deeply disappointing that the experience can vary so drastically. The team working on 4/27 around 10pm is in serious need of retraining and management oversight.
