  Visiting from wonderful Pittsburgh, PA, we stopped in for dinner at Bella Vita, and it was excellent! We had pizza, and it had just a touch of sweetness that made it so unique and absolutely scrumptious. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its interesting and unique light fixtures, made the whole place feel warm and inviting. We also loved watching Rocco prepare his pasta in the pasta wagon with the huge round wheel of cheese! What a treat to watch! We will definitely be back to try the pasta next time. Rocco and his staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend Bella Vista!

  I have lived here in Sarasota for 4 years now, and this was HANDS DOWN the best feel good, good food, and best restaurant experience I have ever had in Sarasota! Rocco the owner was such a great dude , down to earth, and very personable. The food portions are massive and I felt like the value here can’t be matched. We already are planning are next visit!!!

  Where to start! BEST Italian Food! Amazing flavor, HUGE portions and the nicest owner who really takes pride in his food and restaurant! Had a wonderful night with a party of 12. Rocco is the best and his staff is also excellent - this is a restaurant not to miss!

  I typically don’t leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves it. We were visiting the area and I was between Bella Vita and one other italian spot, and I am so happy I chose here. The portions were huge, the food was amazing, and the owner, his son, and our server were all excellent and incredibly friendly. We got the meat lovers pizza and the alfredo out of the cheese wheel and it was delicious. I’d definitely recommend Bella Vita, and next time we are in the area we will for sure make a stop!

  These guys are great! Their slogan is 100% factual: come as guest leave as family! The entire staff is so friendly & punctual! The food was fantastic and the portions were very generous. We are from out of town and this place is going on our list to come back to next year!
