I called later in the day to let them know and to see how they’d like to handle it, and the person I spoke with, Talia, said zero words to the effect of “I’m sorry that happened” or “We’d like to take care of it” and instead told me I would have to come back to this exact location within two weeks or I’m out of luck. I noted that I’m a working mother and don’t live near this location, just happened to be passing by today after an appointment. I said if she wanted to mail a coupon for a pack of nuggets that’s specific to her location but not time-dependent, I’d be happy to make that compromise so that I could get the food that I paid for. However, she just coldly responded “It’s store policy” and explained that two weeks means I could go next week or the week after. Uh, yeah. For a franchise that poses as being all about being family-oriented, this completely missed the mark. I will not be returning.
