Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
We don't have these where we're from. So was excited to go. Staff was great. Food was good. A lot better than most fast food at this price point. A worker went to get the trays off the trash cans and dropped them all. The customers were laughing, the staff was laughing, she was laughing. But what I'm guessing was the GM was eating lunch in the dining area. And clearly gave them a look to stop laughing. I didn't like that. But overall, great first time there!

My family and I had to sit here for several hours while our car was undergoing emergency repairs on our road-trip from Miami. The manager was so gracious and accommodating. He checked in several times to make sure we were okay and really lifted our spirits with his positive attitude and demeanor.

I had a great experience at Whataburger! The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and my order came out exactly as expected. The service was outstanding—everyone was friendly and attentive throughout my visit.
A special shoutout to the manager, Jason, who was professional, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in making sure customers have a great experience. It’s obvious he leads the team well. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Chicken was not on my Cobb salad… called the restaurant to speak with a manager… Jason the GM told me he could not refund my card and had to come back. Turns out he lied and is not the GM…My card could have been refunded instead of me having to come back to the restaurant. I hope the real GM Travis reads this.
Conner was amazing thank you

We had a great experience at the Whataburger in St. Augustine. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, and Jason went above and beyond to help us out during our visit.
To make matters worse, we accidentally dropped one of our milkshakes, and without hesitation the staff happily replaced it for us at no charge. That level of customer service is hard to find these days and was very much appreciated.
The food was great, the restaurant was clean, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A big thank you to Jason and the team for turning a simple meal into such a positive experience. We'll definitely be back!
