  Very disappointing. The food at southern fresh used to be good but it really has changed for the worse. The mashed potatoes were pasty and cold tasting, even the gravy tasted terrible definitely not the same like how it used to be. The carrots were hard and rubbery. The fried chicken was okay but the portion size was much smaller and only give you 2 pieces instead of 3. The price is definitely way up there especially for the little portion of food you get. Only thing can say positive was the waiter was very friendly and helpful at least. Definitely not worth going to Southern fresh anymore.

  Tried the fried chicken because everyone recommended it, and it definitely did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. We also had an issue where our food was accidentally dropped, and the staff handled it so gracefully and kindly. They were incredibly apologetic and quick to make it right, which we really appreciated. Great food and even better service!

  Had a terrible first experience at this establishment last night. They didn’t bring me a water for 15-20 mins after multiple requests when it was the only drink I requested and the others at my table were given all of their beverages. I also ordered a side of jalapeño Mac and some smoked wings. Someone came out to bring a side of bbq and asked who wanted it (they were basically touching me) I said I wanted it 3x and they completely ignored me. They brought everyone else’s food and did not bring my wings, I mentioned they were missing. I waited another 10 minutes and they never came nor did our waiter. At this time I decided I was leaving. I checked in with the rest of my party and guess what, WINGS NEVER CAME OUT. I drove 40 mins each way to give this place a shot. I cannot say they will be getting a second chance from me.

  Have not been here in a while. Had the fried chicken, collards and mashed potatoes. This was the worst meal we have had here ever. Chicken was not even like fried chicken. Collards had crispy stuff in it. Potatoes were cold. I don’t get it. That is all they do. They used to be so delicious. Not any more. Won’t be back.

  First time dining at SF for our Easter meal..Fried Chicken absolutely delicious and the collard greens just like my Mama used to make them.. Banana pudding..Yummy..Will definitely be back..Great service and a fine dinner..Thank you so much..♥️
