I saw their new Ultimate Steak Salad Stuffer and had to try it. I was excited because I like a handheld salad. The photo and ingredient list whet my appetite. I rarely go to Panera, so I was thrilled could just walk up and order without first deciphering the menu. Then my 2 companions ordered. By the time we got our drinks and a table their Mix n Match lunches: soup and 1/2 sandwiches were ready. Mine took another agonizing 6min. But I was still giddy with anticipation. When I came to the table with it, I said, it's bigger than I expected and that's better than smaller! My first bites had me trying to identify the twin smells. Turns out it was cooked broccoli! I like broccoli in salad. Never was it cooked! Also, in the picture it shows so much white dressing, it might be too much, but in person you couldn't see it. So I went to the counter and asked if they had forgotten it. He tried to assure me they used 2 servings, but happily gave me another. And adding a bit to the top each few bites, it was enough to finish. I won't be ordering that again, unless they don't cook the broccoli.

I visited this Panera expecting a friendly and helpful customer service experience, but unfortunately, that was not what I received. While placing my order, I asked the cashier to explain the difference between ordering a Mix & Match versus purchasing the items separately so I could determine which option was the most cost-effective. I wasn’t questioning the prices—I was simply asking for guidance so I could make the best purchasing decision. After completing my order, the employee walked away to get my cookie and, within earshot, said to a coworker, “I don’t make the prices.” The comment came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I politely asked him what prompted that remark because it did not relate to my question. Customers should be able to ask about menu options without feeling as though they are being mocked or treated like an inconvenience. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect. Fortunately, the manager overheard the employee’s comment and stated that he would address the situation with him, which I appreciated. This experience left me disappointed. Customer service is about listening, communicating respectfully, and helping customers understand their options. Asking questions about pricing or menu combinations is completely reasonable and should never be met with an attitude. Based on this experience, it appears that some members of the staff could benefit from additional customer service training, particularly in professionalism, communication, and how to interact respectfully with guests.

I came to this Panera today and ordered a greed goddess salad. This salad has bacon and I did not notice this when I ordered. I am Muslim, as soon as the girl that makes the salad noticed my hijab and the bacon in the salad she came and said. “I’ll be more than happy to remake you that salad without bacon” and she took it and brought me a fresh one. THIS MADE MY DAY! Is so rare to encounter kind people like this, specially when you look different. Thankfully God puts good people in my path. This place is clean, the food is good and the people are beyond nice. Thank you beautiful lady for your kindness. May it be rewarded 10 times more ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was extremely disappointed with my experience regarding the free sourdough promotion. I called the store ahead of time to confirm availability before making any plans. The first employee I spoke with stated that I needed a code from the app to receive the promotion. After that, she changed her response and told me they did have enough sourdough available in-store. When I asked further questions, the information continued to change. I was eventually told by the manager that they had actually run out of sourdough. The inconsistent answers, hesitation, and lack of a clear explanation were frustrating and made it difficult to know what information was accurate. I understand that promotions can be popular and items can sell out, but customers should be provided with honest and consistent information. The way this situation was handled over the phone by the ‘manager’ ( E L I X ) did not reflect the level of communication and professionalism I would expect from a manager or the Panera brand.
