  The absolute worst food that we’ve ever gotten from Panera. We were so excited to have a Panera in Punta Gorda. We ordered a bowl of wild rice/chicken soup and an Italiano sandwich to take home. Over $29 later, when we got home and tried to take the food out of the bag, the sandwich was so greasy it fell out of its wrapping and onto the counter. So greasy I seriously couldn’t even pick it up. The meat was in chunks, meaning several slices that were stuck together and stuffed onto an already greasy roll with wilted lettuce and salad onions. There was so much grease it drained out of the wrapper, through the bag and onto my hands and counter. My favorite soup at Panera is wild rice with chicken which is normally as thick as a stew. Today’s soup was super thin and watery with no flavor AT ALL, There was absolutely NO chicken an even minimal rice. We are so disappointed, Panera was one of the few places we held held to higher standards, and were okay spending more money because we trusted them to always provide us with freshly prepared, quality and reliable food. That is until today. We will probably not be going back to Panera. We could’ve stay home and made can of Campbell’s soup with a bologna sandwich.

  This is the worse Panera I have ever been to. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the lettuce was rotting into sludge. It wasn't just a bad piece of lettuce. Gross. I tired to just take off all of the lettuce but first bite had a hair in it. We had to get a refund.

  Horrible staff, rude, unprofessional and nasty to the customers and to the delivery guys. I've been to this store more than 20 times, and 18 of the times I left wanting to write a bad review. Today is the day I'm wasting 5 minutes of my time to let everyone know about how disgusted I am about this place. I used to love Panera in other locations, but here the staff ruins it. Girls seems to be burning time without providing any help to customers, just hanging around and having such as attitude when they are asked for help.

  We did 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru and had to ask the driver in front of me to move forward so I can leave because I didn't want to be late for work what is going on in there is there not enough employees or is it bad management and not scheduling correctly but this is ridiculous and it needs to be handled cuz this isn't the first complaint that I have about it here!
