  I have two Papa John’s near me, one on PSL Boulevard and the other in Tradition. I decided to try this one first because it’s a newer location. I ordered a pizza for carryout, and when I got there, the place was empty. I didn’t get his name, but there was a black man behind the counter in a gray hoodie and glasses making a pizza. I’m also minority so don’t come for me i’m simple describing him since i didn’t see a name. He didn’t acknowledge me for a good 5 min. That’s fine. When he finally did acknowledge me, he asked, “Pick up?” I said yes. He asked for my name, I gave it to him, he handed me the box, and just walked away. I had to call him back and say, “Hey, I also wanted to buy a side of marinara and extra peppers.” He didn’t really look at me, just went to get the marinara and peppers. He picked up the peppers with his bare hands, put them in my box, and walked away again. At this point, I realized I needed more than one tiny marinara sauce, so I waited a second and walked over because he had gone back to making his pizza. I said, “Hey, don’t kill me, but I need another marinara.” He literally looked at me with a blank stare, went to get another marinara, went to the register, and proceeded to charge me for everything he had just given me, which I was planning to pay for in the first place. But these marinara containers barely have anything in them, and I was charged $3 for that. Okay, fine. It was just a really uncomfortable transaction. I’m buying from here. I shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable because I want to buy something extra or because I’m interrupting whatever you’re doing, which was making a pizza. It was just so bizarre. Based on the other reviews here, I’m not shocked. I didn’t even read the reviews beforehand, but okay, there we go. Guess I’ll stick to the one on PSL moving forward.

  Truly if I could give them a 0 star I would. Papa John’s (typically) has the best pizza crust not too thick or too thin. However, this papa John’s always makes thin crust pizza nothing else. Plus the pizza is dry. They also constantly deliver my pizza unsealed which is likely a food safety hazard. They need to do better. Last year I would’ve gave a 5 star but idk who they have working back there now:

  Called in my order for pick-up. The pizzas and cookie were ready in less than 20 min. The pizzas were fresh and tasty. I saw all the low reviews for this location so since it was my first time here I wanted to give them the credit of a positive review.

  Website and app said open until 12:30am. Placed a to go order around 9pm, it was accepted via app. Drove 15 min to the store and lights are off with door locked. They had already taken my money on the app so called customer service and spoke with multiple "managers", they all said they had to call the location which of course didn't answer but left the back ordering system/computer on. They said they are open even though they didn't answer, and we have pics of being closed. Said they couldn't refund us and someone would call in 48 hrs to discuss. NOT acceptable and will never patronize this business again, actually not any Papa John's due to the business practices or lack thereof.
