    Very disappointed with the food as well as the customer service. The owner was not only rude but straight out said “I’m not going to argue with you” when we came to ask if our pizza could be remade. The dough was hard, and the ratio from dough to sauce and cheese was basically 90% dough. We also ordered FOUR rice balls for it to be visibly burnt on the top. (Where it was sitting in oil). Very disappointed mostly because of how this business decided to handle it, do better for your customers.

    Ok if yall haven’t been to Mia's Italian Restaurant & Market YOU ARE MISSING OUT. This is the second time we’ve been and it was just as delicious as the first time. They definitely know how to make genuine Italian dishes and if you know me, you know it’s my fave. The waitress Cheryl was so freakin sweet and the rest of the staff as well. I’m sayin… go if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed.

    We arrived at 6:00 PM. We took a picture in the dessert section when we arrived. I mention this because of the owner’s responses to previous reviews, so we do have documentation of our experience! When we walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. I approached the woman at the counter with a smile and told her we would like to dine in, and she told us to wait in line and that someone would come get us. We waited about 15 minutes before a friendly young lady finally seated us. We ordered our drinks and appetizer right away. After 25 minutes, we still had neither. There was only one server handling all the tables, so it was understandably difficult for her to keep up and get to everyone. When the drinks finally arrived, mine was not what I had ordered. The server told me it was good, so rather than make an issue out of it, I decided to keep it and give it a try. We still had not received our appetizer, but we placed our food order. About 20 minutes later, the garlic knots finally arrived. Unfortunately, they were not cooked properly. We waited again until we could get someone's attention and politely asked if they could cook them a little longer. Then they forgot about our garlic knots for a while. Our food finally arrived around 7:50 PM. Almost 2 hours of waiting! Unfortunately, the food itself did not make up for the wait. My lasagna was overcooked to the point that you could actually hear the crunch while I was chewing it. My husband's meal was also not so good either. At that point, we decided to ask for the check and boxes. We didn't complain about the food or the wait. We took the food with us, out of respect. We paid the entire bill because we could see that this is a family-owned and operated business, and we are not the type of people who enjoy creating a scene or making someone's night more difficult. However, we also did not appreciate the lack of acknowledgment of how long we had been waiting. For that reason, I feel that leaving an honest review is fair. I do want to say that our server was friendly. She was doing her best while handling all of the tables by herself, and she spoke very highly of her mother-in-law's cooking. I appreciated her attitude and could see that she was very busy. That was another reason we chose not to complain about the food and simply paid and left. Unfortunately, though, our overall experience was disappointing. For the price we paid, the experience did not feel worth the long wait, the service delays, or the quality of the food we received. I would not recommend it!

    Saturday is probably not the night to go…Our Appetizers came out while dinner was on the table… soup was way too salty and i like salt. The other food was okay but they obviously need more help… For the length if took to get food (over an hour) mine was warm but not hot….Bread never came until we were almost done eating. Its a very crowded small dining space and i mean crowded…would say go for lunch or possibly a weeknight that experience is probably better.

    First time there. Went early at 5 pm for dinner on a Monday which is wing night. I was told the wings were good and confirmed it was wing night with our waitress. Ordered the jumbo baked clams which were okay , but more stuffing than clam. Then ordered wings and she said they were out of wings. Out of wings at 5pm on wing night. ??? Why weren't we told before ordering, especially when I inquired about it ? I never would have ordered the clams if I knew they were out of wings. So I ordered the scallops which comes with risotto and a vegetable. The waitress came back and said they were out of risotto. I ordered spinach with it instead , but didn't get a second vegetable until I inquired about it later.. How did the kitchen send out the entree with a second vegetable, even if the waitress forgot ? Scallops were tasty but the portion was mediocre. I feel the place has potential, but they need to step it up.
