First time here, ordered Lalo with black rice (they told me I'm supposed to get white rice with it but I'm American), Tassot Cabrit with pikliz & fried plantains. I also ordered the Soursop natural drink with a champagne soda (Couronne). Food was amazing, the service was great as well. Coming back soon. Thank you.

Had the chance to try sak pase on Haitian Independence Day. The host was so friendly. Foot traffic picked up so quickly but she made sure to attend to everyone best she could. Only wish..was for there to be more staff at the front to take orders. It seemed overwhelming and caused some delay in everyone to receive their food. Lol only have pictures of the restaurent itself and not the food. Cause as soon as me and my friend got ahold of our food it was nearly gone. I tried the griot and diri djon djon, added akra and marinad. Everything was well seasoned with decent portion sizes. Will be coming back when I’m in the area!

Recently, I expressed my dissatisfaction about the restaurant’s service. Shortly afterward, Alex, the chef, personally reached out to discuss my concerns. I really appreciated that he took the time to listen and genuinely cared about improving the service. That kind of professionalism deserves recognition. I have exercise patience with this place because compared to most the food is somewhat decent even though it’s very expensive. Despite the cost, since I like to see when a Haitian company is making progress I go there anyway. Two weeks ago, I ordered food and one of the item was Gratine. I’ve placed the order online and when I got there they didn’t have any. The lady whom I believe is one the owners asked me if I wanted a patty and I said no just refund the money. Since she was busy, trusting that my money would be refunded, I left. Monday morning, full payment was clear and no refund. Every single time I ordered food there, there’s a problem. They always out of something. I don’t like black rice but that’s all they serve unless they’re catering then you might get the rice you requested. They DO NOT accommodate, it’s take it or leave it. Today was the last straw. I’m so pissed off I didn’t even take a picture of my $65 snapper. I arrived at 3:30PM and placed my order and I’ve waited for 45 minutes. They fried the fish because I smelled it like around 3:45-4:00PM or so. Everybody that came after already eaten, some are finished eating. I stood there exercising patience. After an hour, I finally asked for my food, that’s when the lady who took my order came and told me they were out of spices to put in the akra. Why didn’t anybody say anything then? So, I waited some more and it’s 5:00PM. I asked for my money back, of course, they won’t give it back. The lady I asked ignored me with horrible attitude because they don’t like to give refunds. She finally handed the food and I told her that I don’t want it anymore because it’s been there and it’s looks cold. After bunch of talking I took the food. As I started eating sure enough it was cold as a stone. There goes $72 into the trash. Customer service at Sak Pase Kitchen sucks. I mean suckssssss. It’s a negative zero (-0). These women nasty attitude towards people is really bad. They think that we need them and they don’t need us the costumer’s. That was 3 hours of work I just threw away. The fish wasn’t even that good. Best thing on that plate was the akra. It was a complete waste of my time and money. I will never go back there again. Please keep in mind that when anybody come to buy food from you, we are supporting your business because without our money and support, you have no business. Therefore, respect our time, our money and our business. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are less expensive and with better food and much better service. Which means we DON’T NEED YOU but YOU NEED US.
