Just went here recently with my family. While the service was decent, the food was very disappointing. The restaurant felt more Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican cuisine. The fajitas were made up of about 95% vegetables and very little meat. I also ordered the pulled chicken burro, which was unfortunately not enjoyable at all. The chicken was bland, dry, and lacked flavor and not to mention expensive. Overall, I would honestly rather visit a food truck than return here again.

Came here for taco Tuesday, which also happened to be Cinco de Mayo and we had a really good time! It was a party of 4, and the wait time for a table was 1 1/2 hours, which was to be expected. We stayed at the bar while we waited for our table, and it just so happened the 4 seats became available, so we ended up sitting at the bar and ordered our drinks and food right there. First off, Victoria is awesome!! Such a fun and friendly bartender, she honestly made the night so much more fun. She was on point with the drinks, and even made us a special, Mexican candy shots, they were delicious! We ordered a variety of food items, and each was as good as the next! We had the carb nacho, and they were delicious. They use real crab! I had the rice with rotisserie chicken, it was flavorful and so tender! Definitely would be getting that again if we go back. The restaurant is very big, and ample seating. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! If you like Mexican, this is a fantastic restaurant, and the portion sizes are very generous!

Adriana was a terrible waitress. We went for lunch on a Saturday and her an whoever the other lady was had terrible attitudes and treated our entire party badly. Restaurant wasn't even busy and she treated us like we were a bother. I don't think we even asked for anything and she never checked up on us until the end. Only reason they are getting two stars is because the food was ok but definitely not authentic Mexican.

Dry and Cold Tacos Overall impression:The tacos were notably dry and served at a colder temperature than typical for the setting, which impacted the overall enjoyment. The tortilla texture leaned toward firm and crumbly rather than soft and pliable. Filling ratio appeared modest, contributing to the sense of dryness. Temperature was consistently cool across the plate, affecting the perception of freshness. Flavor profile:The flavors present were subdued, with minimal moisture to carry the seasoning. Spices and seasoning were present but lacked the vibrancy expected for this style. Any sauces or toppings provided offered limited corrective moisture. Presentation and portion:Plating was straightforward, with standard taco accompaniments. Portions were adequate but did not compensate for dryness. Garnishes were minimal, not adding notable color or contrast. Value and consistency:Pricing aligned with average expectations for the area, though the quality variance could influence perceived value. If the dryness issue was specific to the batch, future visits might offer improvements. Consistency across multiple orders would be a key factor for overall judgment. Suggestions for improvement (constructive): Ensure tortillas are warmed properly to retain moisture and elasticity. Consider slightly dampening the filling with a light sauce or adding a moisture-rich topping. Monitor hold times to maintain temperature closer to serving temperature. Bottom line La Bamba shows potential, but the dry and cold tacos detract from the dining experience. With targeted adjustments to tortilla warmth and moisture, the dish could better showcase the intended flavors and texture. I will go back again and update the is review

I am just an Uber delivery driver that was picking up food for a customer, and the staff today was extremely rude because I came in the wrong entrance. Mind you the hostess is showing me the signs outside that show which is the correct door.. they were the smallest signs you would not see. Multiple employees gave off miserable energy and I'm just glad I wasn't a customer eating there.
