- JSJalisa SmithAug 3, 20261.0I went to Grande Pizza for the first time last Friday, July 31, 2026 with some coworkers who recommended it for our lunch break. We were greeted by the server Bob who had a sparky attitude from start to finish. I ordered the penne alla vodka. It was tasty but after a few bites I noticed a brown piece of wax paper in my mouth after taking a bite. I spit it out into my paper napkin and was turned off immediately from continuing to eat. I decided I was finished eating. As Bob came to take away our plates he noticed my plate was still full and asked if I wanted a box. I let him know that I don't and why. I showed him the brown wax paper and as I was speaking he turned away and took the plates to the back. He was intentionally rude and offended each of us at the table. When he came back, he continued to clear the table including the brown wax paper, without saying a word. He placed the 4 checks in front of us. My coworker asked for a manager. We were the only patrons in the restaurant at this time and it took the manager 15 mins to come to our table although she was behind the counter. When she came, and we told her what happened, she very passively called Bob over and asked him where the plate and the wax paper was. He indicated he had already thrown them away. He never apologized and instead threw his hands up saying, "Well I guess I misunderstood her." He brought an empty plate back indicating there was nothing there. The manager tells me she thinks I chewed on a sautéed onion. I had no onions in my penne. The manager was very passive and offered to upgrade my meal. I was so turned off by the customer service that I no longer wanted to eat there so I declined. She never offered to give me my $20.33 back that I paid for the penne alla vodka I barely ate due to a foreign object in my food. We left that establishment and I will never ever eat at this place again due to the terrible customer service from Bob and the manager Lianne (I believe that was her name).

Their shrimp parmigiana is jumbo shrimp and taste tender delicious and juicy. Their chicken parmigiana taste tender and juicy. Their pizza taste delicious and edible down to the crust. Their chicken wings are tasty, tender and delicious. All the food that I order from their taste like authentic Italian. They offer a variety of different food which I enjoy every time.

She explained ordering in person or over phone would be best yet kept a positive and helpful demeanor the entire time. The food was exactly what I wanted quality and quantity is 10/10 I highly recommend.

I’ve been coming for 20 years from when they were small and now expanded the same ingredients same menu absolutely delicious my favorite go to pizza wings garlic rolls or the anti pasta salad is amazing now if you encounter the lady at the front and you think she’s a little bit cranky she’s not she’s just the manager for like 20+ years doing her best probably doing too much. Someone give her a raise,she knows what she’s doing, but in the end it always feel welcome. food is always delicious and I’ve again been coming back every week or two anytime I crave a pizza for the last 20 years. I recommended to all my friends and family and you should all try it out as well
