  Horrible service...he had a attitude...like he was mad that he had a customer. No greeting took my money and close the window and went back on his phone. I asked for a bacon double melt. I got a double with cheese and 3 day old onions. SMH.

  The food is good. The staff could be better. and have better attitude sometimes and faster service.

  Have been rarely eating fast food over the last several years, but always loved Checkers and thought it was a great value with different types of burgers etc. Broke down tonight and stopped. I pull in to the menu board and was told they were not taking orders right now and it would be like ten min. Decided to wait and several min later they came on and said they could take the order with credit cards only. Ordered a featured burger on special and a milkshake. The total seemed very high and was told there was an up charge for the shake. I told them I did not want the combo, just the two items . They never asked , just up charged it. Then was told to drive around the tight fitting parking lot and pick up my order on the opposite side . WHY? Then had to wait while They loaded big boxes into the car ahead of me . Finally got my food, and was very disappointed. I’m easily pleased and was looking forward to this treat. Burger was dry and didn’t have much taste. Cheese looked strange and wasn’t melted. Just a lot of bread that did not look or taste like sourdough. The whole sandwich was kind of yellow. The shake was lighter than air. It must have literally been half air. What has happened to this place over the last several years? It used to be great and I ate there quite often. It wasn’t just one thing that wasn’t good, it was the total experience . The other checkers in the area closed- I’d hate to see this one close as well but improvements need to be made.
