Great comics, great food and good people. The comic cafe is a triple threat. I come for huge array of back issues, from every era of comics. And the owner- Sherrick along with his amazing family are so knowledgeable- they know comics. I always end up staying for a sandwich or a snack. The Comic Cafe is a hidden gem in Plant City!

This café is a delightful little treasure for Plant city! AMAZING coffee, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious fresh baked goods and a relaxing atmosphere. 100% recommend taking a look and grabbing a drink or comic to go!!!

I popped into see what this place was about. I ventured over to the comic book side. I chatted with the store owner for a bit. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his business. I ended up picking up a Mile Morales comic for my son and a few Pokémon singles. They also had deals on funko pops. I didnt get a chance check out the cafe, but the food looked great. I loved the vibe. Perfect for catching up with a friend or quiet study spot. My son loved the comic book so we will be back for more. They offer $1 comics too, So we'll check that out with the food.

my friend and i visited with my daughter about a month and half ago and had such a wonderful experience! esp talking to the women working, and how kind they were to my toddler by taking the effort to make her a ‘bubble gum’ drink. i visited with my husband and daughter a couple days ago and the guy working was very nice, but the vibes were just kind of off, and i did think it was weird that our drinks were all made in the back of the cafe. but the drinks were really really good, and i genuinely figured maybe it was just a weird day and wrote it off. yesterday my friend and i went again with my daughter and kind of made the decision to opt out of ordering and going back. we were greeted super quick when we came in and my toddler was a bit noisy as she watched the cartoon on the tv bc she was excited. my friend and i took a minute or so to look at the menu on our phones, and my toddler being a toddler kept asking ‘mommy, i get my drink?’ and ofc i just told her we needed a second to see what we wanted. a little bit of time passed and we were start of getting confused why nobody had come up to take our order, esp since we’d been greeted and my daughter asked several more times when we could get a drink and i repeated several times ‘we gotta be patient girlies and wait for someone,’ … we weren’t aware that the comic shop and coffee shop had separate registers, or that we’d have to go tell someone we were ready to order (esp since we were greeted and hadn’t moved further than the bar). we felt extremely awkward standing there, and just decided we’d dip out silently. my daughter was pretty upset, so i did have to take a little time to convince her to come out the door, and that’s when we were finally approached by a worker. i really didn’t love that we were only acknowledged during my toddlers melt down and tried to convince to come back in and order while i was actively trying to get my toddler out the door. and i didn’t love that we were told that the worker didn’t know that her other co-worker left and she didn’t know we weren’t being helped at all. :/ overall it was a very awkward experience and a huge bummer since the coffee roast is great, and their drinks have fun flavor profiles! wanted to review on the chance that others have the same weird experiences and let them know they’re def not the only ones lol.

I would say when we went in the place is small but cozy. The chef was on break so we had to wait a bit before we got our food. Everything else was good! Even when they messed up we got a free drink out of it!
