  The new menu is DELICIOUS- Probably the best bowl I’ve ever had. The hummus was so delicious. Everything was excellent to the point that I can eat this food every day.

  Excellent food, I got the falafel bowl, only 1 thing I would recommend is come with an appetite because you get so much food, I got 2 meals out of it, I highly recommend this restaraunt. Renee

  I have been coming here for years this spot has always had great food with great owners. The food is fresh and delicious and the owners and workers are so kind. Support local businesses becomes so much easier when u have a great environment and product. Def give this place a shot and you will be hooked.

  If you are looking for fresh, authentic, and healthy Greek cuisine in Pinellas Park, Athenians is the place to go. They have recently introduced a brand-new menu, and my first impressions were absolutely stellar. I ordered the new chicken bowl and drink combo, and it was incredible. The portions are outstanding and so fulfilling that I couldn’t even finish it all in one sitting! The tzatziki sauce absolutely hits the spot, and their new garlic sauce is a phenomenal addition that pairs perfectly with the chicken bowl. To top it off, the pita bread was served warm, fresh, and exactly how authentic pita should be. Beyond the amazing food, the service here is exceptional. The owner and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, making the entire environment feel warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Thank you I will 100% be back!!

  We had such a wonderful experience at Athenian’s Gyros & Chicken! Danny was our cook, and he did an amazing job. He was welcoming, friendly, and had such a pleasant personality that made our visit even more enjoyable. We decided to try some items from the new menu, including the Chicken Kabob, Chicken Shawarma, Falafel Bowl, Gyro Bowl, and of course, some Baklava. Everything was absolutely delicious! The new garlic sauce was amazing and came in a close second to my all-time favorite — the Tzatziki sauce. The meals were fresh, balanced, and very generous portions. We even think offering smaller “lunch” portions could be a great option because there was plenty to share. It was fun stepping outside our usual choices and trying something new! The Falafel was a standout — the chickpeas and seasoning were incredible and honestly much better than the typical American-style seasoning. Hands down, deliciousness! One suggestion we had: offering a daily special featuring a different meal each day could be a great way to encourage customers who tend to stick with their favorites (like us!) to branch out and discover new menu items. Thank you for a great experience, amazing food, and friendly service. We will definitely be back!
