Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The food was fresh and made perfectly, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Excellent service !

Used the drive through or avoid this location all together.
10 minutes waiting for an elderly lady and her professional caregiver to order. Step up to the register and the teal dyed casher packs up, turns and disappears into the kitchen area. No "We'll be right with you" or a civil acknowledgement there was someone even there. Kitchen staff poked her head out and then hollers back into the kitchen, "Who's on the register?"
Left empty handed.
It's gotten difficult hiring competent new hires with the post COVID dregs of what local society has to offer managers and who HR can officially keep on the hourly payroll.
If the management at this location is promoting a despondent workplace environment, then we know where the problem lies. Put in a kiosk for food orders if human interaction on a Friday afternoon is no longer needed at the walk up.
