Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Worst experience at Whataburger I’ve ever had. Someone should go inspect what I happening at this location I won’t be back to it.
- SCSnow ConeSep 2, 20261.0I was screamed at by the skinny woman who speaks through her nose (slurrs her words) just now. September 2nd at 03:40 AM. I’m a travel nurse and came in here to get a patty melt meal. I ate my burger in the parking lot and came back in 5 minutes later to get a refill in soda. She started screaming/yelling “get out of here and don’t come back now” because I refilled my soda. I told her it is not that deep and she proceeded to scream slurred words at me. Bizarre. A $2 sofa is nothing to me…. Just wanted to go somewhere where I would feel comfortable. Will definetly go to Myrtle grove next time. YIKESERS!!!
