  Went here with my family a few weeks back. It was on a saturday during lunchtime, so I reckoned it would just be the usual cramped and noisy and maybe dirty pizzeria, with maybe some kids being annoying and screaming. But I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. The place looked pretty nice and respectable, no food on the floors or anything really dirty, even tho the place was really full when we got there. Even with the amount of people, the staff managed pretty decently at taking their orders and serving the food. It's thanks to that that we managed to get our food in just a few minutes (mind you, last pizzeria we went to forgot that we were there and we had to order again 30 minutes after the 1st time). Food was pretty good as well, on top of being served fast, probably the best pizza we've had on a Papa John's restaurant. The two we ordered had good balance between ingredients and was left in the oven for just the right amount of time. I also have to say that I, for once, felt welcome in fast food establishment. Normally we're dealing with people who pretty obviously just want their shift to be over, but here the staff was very welcoming and made us feel like we they cared about our experience which, again, is extremely rare in these kinds of places. Overall, if we ever find ourselves back in Pensacola and we feel like eating some good ol' pizza, we'll definitely come back here!

  I placed a buy-one-get-one-free gluten-free pizza order through DoorDash. After noticing an issue with my order, I called the store and spoke with the manager, Amber, to ask questions about the promotion shown in the app. During the conversation, Amber decided to cancel my order, even after I specifically asked her not to. She told me, “That’s not my problem,” and proceeded with the cancellation anyway. Since I was nearby, I contacted the corporate office to file a complaint and then went to the store to ask about the situation in person. When I expressed my concerns, one employee responded that he was “not the morale police.” To make matters worse, DoorDash continued dispatching drivers to pick up an order that had already been canceled, wasting multiple drivers’ time and fuel. Eventually, DoorDash issued me a refund. This entire situation could have been handled much more professionally. I have reported the matter to both corporate and DoorDash, and I understand the incident will be reviewed. I hope steps are taken to improve customer service and communication going forward.

  Tipped $5 about 10 minutes ago on a takeout order. Should've opened up the boxes before leaving. Missing items and not what I ordered. I'm not tipping on takeout any longer...
