  Me and my husband absolutely love Mama's tacos. It's our favorite go to place. Food is great and the staff is wonderful. If my husband ever gives me an option of where I want to go eat it's always going to be Mama's tacos! 😁

  I went with an open mind as I’m new to the area and had read mixed reviews. My sister and I went yesterday and was quite satisfied with our meal. Our food was hot, fresh and tasty. The customers seemed chilled and ambiance was welcoming and laid back. Our server was very on point, friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back. The overhead music was nice contemporary upbeat and not too loud.

  Wow, so happy to finally find some good Tex-Mex food in the Pensacola area. We tried their beef enchiladas which were not traditional chili Texas gravy but were creamy & had lots of blancobqueso, still pretty good and tasted great! The birra tacos with consume tasted fresh and were absolutely delicious! Charros beans were pretty good but their pork tamales tasted traditional, homemade and the masa was a light shade of red so you know its good! The salsas were decent and I really liked the green sauce. Elote appetizer was also pretty good. I really wish they had aqua lemonada which would be perfect for a hot summer day. Can't wait to try more food. Service was great and establishment was pretty clean. Overall we enjoyed our meal! Great job!

  Deleted old 5 star review!!! I waited to make a new one til I've been a couple times since noticing changes. We have been to eat here numerous times. I can tell you without any doubts that the effort is no longer given. The flavor is not there. The place was filthy....a flies paradise. Staff was literally spraying bug killer at table behind us because they were everywhere. I offered my husband a bite of my fajitas to see if it was just me, the food was so bland. Very disappointing.

  Outside of the restaurant you can see spray foam (insulation) coming out of the building in several places, Not very professional. We went to play bingo and eat discount birra, upon our arrival I forgot my phone with the details in the car. We asked a server what the specials were, he said there were none tonight. There was a group of people very obviously vaping in the restaurant and their puffs of smoke were floating into my face however nobody seemed to care. We got basic plain quesadillas and I got lemonade, my mom got a margarita. The quesadillas were small first of all, secondly they had colby jack cheese in them? Never have I ever been to a Mexican style restaurant that did that, it was not very tasty. The chicken did not have much seasoning or cheese the grilled chicken was chopped into very small pieces as well as there being quite a bit of gristle. My mom’s margarita was lemon/lime I think and on the rocks, it tasted like plastic and liquor. They then brought a strawberry one to replace it which also tasted off. My lemonade was sent back due to it tasting like water with a bit of lemon and plastic I am not sure what is causing the weird plastic taste but the sweet tea was ok. Whoever the bingo announcer was, he was not great at it. He was not good at annunciating words thankfully there was a tv showing the bingo letters and numbers. My mom is hard of hearing though and with him holding my microphone so close to his mouth even I could barely understand him.
