We’ve been at least a half dozen times. The service has always been great. They’re friendly and fun to talk to. I like that it’s laid back, my husband loves JB’s for the service , atmosphere, and the calzones. I always order the caprese salad, and a slice /or two pizza special. One day we went when it was right after lunch hours or maybe even a weekend , but a server -an extremely nice young man , gave me the special anyway. I wish I knew his name. Today , I had the buffalo chicken flatbread, and the caprese salad. The salad was so fresh, and the flatbread was the best I’ve ever had, ever. My son and I are foodies- he lives in another state so I sent him a picture of the flatbread pizza and his response “ holy sh t”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My sister in law had the bruschetta app and a sandwich ( I can’t remember which one I was fixated on MY food😊) , my niece had the ceaser wrap and fries, my husband had a calzone. We didn’t have any problems and our server was great. The food delicious.
I do have to mention pizza that I had previously to today’s visit. I’m not from New York so maybe it’s the way it is , 🤷♀️😊—BUT the pizza didn’t taste that great as it didn’t have any sauce , or barely any. The crust tasted like a frozen pizza. A couple of other “ national chains” in town serve what they call NY pizza, and we can “ fold over “ each slice. Lol There are so many other great entrees there that I can order something other than pizza. I wish the pizza was better , but honestly , “ P J’s and D…no’s” are better. It seems like the neg reviews say the same about the two chains.
Pro’s : service , atmosphere , the food( other than the pizza) fun staff , reasonable prices for the food we got.
Cons: the pizza isn’t my favorite 😢
Pizza a tad bit more expensive than other pizzas I’ve had for cheaper in the area ( I’m not talking national chains this time ), there are several Mom and pop pizza places around as well.
Pizza 1/10 (sorry 😢)
Caprese salad 10/10
Buff chicken flatbread 10/10
Calzone 10/10( that’s coming from a picky eater ❤️)
Service 10/10
Atmosphere 10/10
Recently had a large pizza with pepperoni and basil delivered via DoorDash to the office. Since this was our first time trying it out wanted to try something basic (If a pizza place can't do a basic pepperoni, then forget about it). Pizza arrived and we all dug in, large sliced and a generous amount of pepperoni and cheese with just enough basil on it to make it pop. Love the crust! It had the perfect amount of pull and chew that I look for with NY Style pizza. It had an excessive amount of cheese on it, not complaining, would have liked to have held back a little on the cheese. Now the sauce, the sauce lacked a little bit of flavor. You could tell it was there, but the cheese and toppings overpowered the flavor of the sauce, making it seem bland. It lacked either a lil bit of heat, some bite, or needed a hint of vinegar make ya notice it. Overall - will definitely order again. It's worth it, though the DoorDash fees inflated the cost...which isn't Brusco's fault. Definitely will have to try a dine-in experience soon!
