  Many items on the menu on Google Maps are taken out. Apparently the chef/owner changed. Refer to their website if you’re just checking out what they have. Called ahead and they didn’t have anything I want but I was in a hurry. The $15 lobster Rangoons doesn’t have much filling and I would avoid. The $14 bulgogi egg rolls are small. The snow peas in the kung pao fried rice are canned food and the whole dish wasn’t good. All the portion are very small and barely feeds one. The baos are the only thing that taste decent but the bun tastes like frozen steam buns from groceries. Attached is a receipt for a $100 check that barely feeds two and I was ordering for three. They charged me $8 delivery fee for picking up the food myself. A 4% restaurant fee whatever that means. Very disappointed and ruined the night. Definitely a tourist trap for the Palafox area.

  I have been coming to 86 fork for a little over a year! The service is always 10/10 they recently did a menu flip and i was excited to taste the food. I even brought some friends talking up the place, when we got our food it was really disappointing. I ordered the steak and it came out with some nice grill marks but when I cut into, it was blue rare and dry as all get out. The chili crisp fries were good my friends got gnocchi and edamame that was tasty. The other two got udon noodles and said it tasted very bland. I thought maybe they were having an off night but when I came back on a date with my husband it was disappointing again. I have a theory they got a new chef and they revamped the menu to establish a new identity? It’s really sad when one of your favorite places to eat overhauls the menu and ruins what made it special.

  I went to this restaurant months ago, and the food and pricing was amazing. Great taste and very fairly priced. Went back today (6 months later) and they had a new chef and menu. We were less than enthused after dining in. Prices had gone up and portions were still relatively small. The 7 spice pork was overcooked, meatballs were lukewarm at best, and the lemongrass udon was relatively flavorless. We were quite disappointed compared to the amazing experience we’ve had in the past, and will likely choose another restaurant over this one in the future. Nothing bad to say about the employees, Skylar was quick and courteous, just the food left a lot to be desired. Came out to $140 with two small apps, four drinks, and two entrees.

  We had a fantastic dining experience at 86 Forks in Pensacola Florida. Every dish we tried was outstanding, and we especially appreciated that the portions were generous and very shareable. The meatballs were flavorful and perfectly prepared, the Kung Pao had a great balance of spice and flavor, and the miso gnocchi (omg) with shrimp was absolutely delicious. The Thai tiramisu was a unique and memorable dessert that was the perfect way to end the meal. A special shoutout to attentive waitress Kelly, who provided the 4 dish recommendation and excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Great food, shareable portions, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

  Have loved this restaurant since its inception. Use to be an at least once a week treat. Have been away for a while and had it booked for tonight and was so looking forward to it! Boy was I disappointed! Menu has totally changed, not one single item that I had previously eaten was on the menu. Must be a different cook as well because the food was WAY over seasoned, a mistake that the previous chef would have never made. Offerings were no where near as flavorful or visually appealing as before. The food was not terrible but it did not leave you wanting more like every trip I’ve taken there in the past, it was just average. I don’t understand these restaurants abandoning what made them what they were to begin with. I understand adding new items to the menu, that’s how new “favorites” are discovered, but not at the expense of the favorites that tantalized my tastebuds to begin with and became favorites. The place had gotten to where you could not eat there without a reservation. Now, it’s pretty easy to walk right in and sit down and I can see why. I do want to add that I have no complaints with ANY of the service other than the food. Staff was friendly and professional as always. Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was great as always. Just hope they will revert back to the original menu or I will not be eating there again. Thought I had found a nice little gem that had great Asian food at a moderate price……..PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MENU!
