- KHKarine HJun 15, 20262.0I used to love Panera Bread, and was just so excited when it opened in Ellenton. Unfortunately, even after quite a few visits, I leave so underwhelmed. What is going on with the venue? Something is off and I can't quite put my finger on it. It feels cold and uninviting. I feel it may be too open. Most Paneras I have been to have little nooks, more private areas, enclosed booths.... It is also rare to find someone waiting at the counter to take your order, the kitchen is always missing some ingredients, and the portions on the take out orders are always smaller than dine in.
