  We were in town on vacation, met up with some local friends with a boat. They brought us here for lunch. The water view is perfect, the staff was very friendly and on top of all the details. We enjoyed our lunch.

  Being from out of town, when I say I cannot wait to return just to go back to this place. From the atmosphere, to the wait time to the general service provided as a call in, takeout order. Oh my goodness it was amazing and that isn't even mentioning the food yet. The cocktail claws were to fall over for, the soft shell crab was to fall back for. This restaurant is simply amazing, from the people, to the food, to the environment I cannot wait to return!

  The food was terrible. The bread was hard as a rock and the fries were cold. This place used to be excellent, It has become a terrible overpriced nasty 1 star restaurant. I looked at the picture of Uncle Ernie on the wall and thought to myself,... Uncle Ernie is probably ashamed to have his face on the wall of such a disappointing place.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Uncle Ernie’s was such a beautiful experience! I would definitely describe it as upscale, classy, and fancy without feeling uncomfortable or overly formal. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as an upstairs area, which is where we sat. The upstairs atmosphere was AMAZING. We had live music while we were there, and it was wonderful. The view of the water was absolutely beautiful, and you can actually walk out onto the dock and take in the scenery. The dock was such a pretty little extra and gave us a chance to enjoy the water and the view even more. Honestly, the atmosphere is what really makes this place special. Between the beautiful water views, live music, dock, and overall upscale setting, it felt like such a special experience. Our service was also great. Everything was fast, and we really had no complaints whatsoever. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels elegant, beautiful, and upscale, with great views and a relaxing atmosphere, I definitely recommend Uncle Ernie’s. It was definitely one of our favorite stops during our Panama City Beach trip! 🌊🎶✨

  Sit out on the bay and enjoy a nice glass of your favorite drink or soft drink. They have fans outside but the peak time to be out there is right at sunset as the temps drop during the hot seasons. September- December are quite nice temperature wise. If you hit the ernies around 5pm it leaves ample time to explore downtown panama city and drop into The Portal for board games and drinks after; a great way to wrap up an evening of fun! Downtown also offers quaint coffee shops and stores for the avid window shopper. Grouper is recommended!
