  Be sure you read the signage. It is not very clear. Plan to spend 30 dollars a couple. They should have better instructions at the table.

  What a pleasant surprise! I am not a buffet person, but I gotta say it was amazing. Pot roast that just melted in your mouth, gumbo, that was so delicious.It tasted homemade. Mashed potatoes that were just like mama, used to make. The fried chicken was over the top. A must try! Saturday and Sunday is a breakfast buffet.Can't wait to try it.

  They really need to up date the restaurant to make it look fresher. But I love Granny Cantrell. My,my the chocolate cake is so good, the carrot cake 🎂 good also and I enjoyed coconut 🎂 cake. The food was hot. The waitress was very nice. The cashier was nice and helpful too.

  Ii was my first vist, so I did a walk thru to see the food on the buffet. I saw what looked like collard greens, okra and tomatoes, turnip greens, corn, green peas, white rice, mashed potatoes, brown gravy. There was chicken fried steak, baked chicken, fried chicken. Also, there was pulled pork. I saw what looked to be yeast rolls. I say looked like on some items, because they weren't labeled. The salad bar was small, with items found on most salad bars, but was missing a lot of items on most salad bars, too. The atmosphere was calm. The cashier said a friendly hello upon my entrance. There were many tables and there were about 30 diners at 4:30 pm. The restaurant appeared clean. I did not stay to dine, because the food did not appeal to my appetite that day. There wasn't meatloaf, or hamburgers, I didn't see any seafood like shrimp, fish nor salmon. So, overall, I'd say it is country food minus some favorites. The proteins being mostly chicken and pulled pork.

  I order the French toast breakfast came with grits eggs and bacon. And ms. Betty was our esteemed waitress done an amazing service to us. Home cooked meal is what I tasted when I received my meal. Very hard to find homemade breakfast anywhere in pc. IHOP no. Waffle House. Hell no and no other competition. I ate everywhere since I moved here in 5 months ago. This will be my lil steak out for now on. See ya soon ms Betty and granny’s Cantrell family
