UBEREATS and DOORDASH ORDERS: THIS IS FOR YOU! I just received my order via UberEats in an OPEN AND UNSEALED grocery style bag! This is DISGUSTING & UNSANITARY! Not only did my food arrive open and lids falling off because the bag is shit it also leaves the oppurtunity for someone to tamper with your food and other behaviors! Yall are DEAD WRONG for doing this cheap shit and need to be ASHAMED of this penny-pinching mess!

Disappointing Experience — Gift Card Not Accepted The food was okay, but unfortunately our overall experience at Carrabba’s in Panama City Beach was very disappointing. My wife specifically chose this restaurant because we had a $100 Carrabba’s gift card that we wanted to use. When it came time to pay, the staff told us they couldn’t accept the gift card and, more importantly, they couldn’t figure out how to process it. We even went online while we were there and confirmed that the gift card was valid and had the full $100 balance available. It was frustrating to have a legitimate gift card and still be unable to use it because the restaurant staff could not figure out how to process it. If you are planning to visit Carrabba’s specifically to use a gift card, I would recommend choosing somewhere else. It certainly wasn’t the experience we expected.

Well, another once great restaurant bites the dust. Went for dinner for six on August 7. We had Chicken Bryan, Chicken Marsala, Calamari, and pasta with marinara. NONE of them had enough sauce (frustrating that almost all restaurants do this now, even buffalo wings are coming out dry). We had to ask for more sauce. Chicken dishes did not have same flavor as in the past, and were WAY too salty (another trend, along with super sweet oriental food and more). Clearly this was to mask the decline in flavor. The calamari was TERRIBLE, I can get better in a frozen bag at any supermarket. Tiny little pieces of dried out, tough rings. The Chicken Marsala used to be the best I have ever had. Now you couldn't pay me to eat it. The last very disappointing point, the minestrone, which was also among the best I have ever had, is no longer on the menu. As for the service, the waitress kept forgetting for things we asked for, like lemon for the vegetables and calamari, by the time she came back to check (which took a long time) and was reminded and came back with the items, the food was cold. Went during happy hour so got two drinks and the calamari HH discount, and still costs $120. I can do WAY better at any good pizza parlor type restaurant.

Unfortunately, our experience was not what we had hoped for. It took about 10 minutes just to get our drinks and another 20 minutes before we were able to place our order. Our kids’ drink refills were also forgotten, and although we requested kids’ menus when we were seated, we never received them and had to use the online menu instead. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing. The chicken piccata was especially unpleasant. The chicken did not appear to be coated in flour at all and had a slimy texture that made it very difficult to enjoy. My husband ordered his steak medium, but it came out completely brown with no pink at all. We understand that restaurants can have off nights, and we appreciate the effort from the staff, but between the slow service, forgotten refills, missing kids’ menus, and the quality of the food, our overall experience was disappointing. We hope these are areas the restaurant can improve because we would have liked to have a much better experience. It was also very warm inside the restaurant, and they were using booths for storage. The server was polite, just not efficient. He was able to ask for the chicken piccata to come off our ticket, since I wasn’t eating it. I have never asked for someone to remove something off my bill until now.

The quality of service goes a long way and can sway my review from good to great! We had high hopes coming to this restaurant as soon as we came into town. Sadly, from the moment we stepped in the hostess didn't acknowledge us once and she passed by three times. A server had to seat us. She was not smiling at all. So, I figured she was having a bad night. We got seated. No problem there. Our appetizers came, but we didn't have any silverware. So, we asked the girl who brought the drinks. With a sour look, she told us they didn't have silverware. What kind of a response was that? What restaurant runs out of silverware?! She told us that she'll bring some when they get some. Another server brought our salads that came with our meal. I asked if we could get some silverware. She was shocked that we didn't have any. Nicole went out of her way to find some for us. She solved a problem even when it wasn't her table. Our server for the night, Reis (sp), was attentive. Engaged with us, asked questions. Big kudos to Nicole and Reis. I had hoped to give this place a 5 star. They brought the rating to a 3 when it would've been lower. Try again next time.
