  Portions are so small and yet so expensive! My husband and i left hungry after paying well over $100. After we were seated no one came to get our drink order for over 10 minutes. We were about to leave when a server showed up. Did not even introduce himself just walked up and shouted how are we today. After he got our order our food came 15 minutes later from a different server and we did not see our server until we were done with our meal. When he brought our check it took him forever to come get it. We just wanted to pay and leave! (Food did taste good) Just so expensive! When they brought it out i thought it was a childs meal. I will note our frustration came mostly from he was giving his other tables soon much attention. While we were just ignored. No offers for a refill or anything. It was a very unpleasant visit. Our first and last time. Way to hyped up for what it really is.

  I was pretty disappointed with Sharkys. With all the hype I was really expecting excellent food. It wasn’t excellent. It was sub par at best. The atmosphere was very loud as there was karaoke going on and was seated right by the speakers. We wanted drinks but apparently you can only get an $18 souvenir cup which wasn’t needed. The only thing excellent about the place was the waitress.

  This was our first experience at Sharkey’s. It did NOT disappoint. The restaurant was packed for dinner but everything operated so efficiently. Our server, Parker, was fantastic. Give him a raise or a promotion. The food was so good! Definitely try the blackened shrimp. Best I’ve ever had. If we ever come back to Panama City, we will go back for sure. 5 stars all the way around

  This restaurant was absolutely worth it! It was very busy when we arrived, so we thought the wait would be long, but we were pleasantly surprised by how fast and organized the service was. They have plenty of tables, the location is excellent, and the sunset view from the tables is simply beautiful. The food was delicious, the oysters were huge—Marcelo absolutely loved them! The beer was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. Definitely a place we would come back to!

  My husband and I are passionate about oysters and have tried baked oysters at countless restaurants over the years. Without any exaggeration, these were the absolute worst oysters we have ever been served. The dish looked like it had been thrown together with no care whatsoever. The crackers were carelessly dumped on top of the oysters instead of being served on the side, ruining the presentation from the moment it arrived. The oysters themselves were completely unacceptable. They were poorly cooked and full of shell fragments. I nearly cracked a tooth biting into what felt like small rocks hidden in the food. This is not just disappointing, it is dangerous and shows a shocking lack of attention in the kitchen. What is most frustrating is that this restaurant appears to have everything needed to provide a great dining experience, yet the quality of the food was embarrassingly bad. To make matters worse, the prices are outrageously high. Spending high prices and receiving food of this caliber is simply unacceptable. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we have ever had. The quality was terrible, the presentation was sloppy, and the lack of care in preparing the food was obvious. We left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly shocked that a restaurant charging so much could serve something this poor.
