  Great spot, great servers. The food isn't good. Everything is mediocre at best, thought when in Rome, I'd get (the world famous shark bites). No seasoning, didn't really taste like anything. Whomever owns this establishment is really doing their great staff, and community a disservice. You've nailed two outta three, now serve some real food. And make some house made tartar sauce for crying out loud.

  We had the grilled chicken salad, gator bites which were amazing (the dipping sauce was alittle different and I wasn’t a fan of it), the oyster combo was excellent, and the Hawaiian chicken sandwich was a good size and amazing. We also got the world famous shark attack which was so good we got two. The staff was fast, friendly, and super attentive. The restaurant was clean and the music was good. It’s a place I’ll definitely come back to.

  I will start by saying I have never been one for the “touristy trap” type restaurants. Although Sharky’s is a PCB staple, I personally find the food to be falling short in taste and depth of flavor. That being said, the service and atmosphere are great. I had the stuffed flounder and just simply found it to be lacking seasoning. I’m not sure if the stuffing is the same mix they use for the crab cakes or not which the wife had. The crab cakes definitely had more flavor though they could’ve been seared harder on each side to give more texture.

  The food was good. However, the sea food platter was an overpriced under proportioned charcuterie board at best. The steak was good. The wait staff was terrible. We have a gluten sensitivity, we first asked about the nachos (if they were cross contaminated or contained gluten in one of the sauces) the waitress didn’t know, then tried to play it off like they just shared fryers but never went to ask or even attempted to be sure. We knew she wasn’t sure because she fumbled the entire conversation. This is not safe practice and wait staff should either know what’s in the food or at the VERY LEAST TRY to find out. Then we ordered the seafood platter and asked if we could sub crab cakes for something different because of the gluten, she said no, just no. Anywhere else we’ve ever been before at least asks the manager since it’s allergy and not preference. She also tried to tell us crab cakes don’t contain gluten. After eating. I had an IMMEDIATE stomach ache. For $150 and only two entrees and an appetizer this was less than one star service. We had to wait (too long) on extra plates that we requested upon ordering our food in the first place. the wait staff brought out a steak (one of the two our party ordered) and couldn’t even tell us if it was supposed to be medium or medium well and just said “sure” when we asked it it was medium. It was like nobody even tried at this place they just wanted to do the bare minimum and move on. I’m not one to complain or ask for a refund but I really should have tonight. Our waitress seemed like she was trying to be kind but overall she was over it. Brought us a large cup to refill our kids drinks ourselves so she didn’t have to come back. It was tacky for the prices they have on the menu.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharky’s has always held a special place in our family’s heart. For the last few years, coming to Panama City Beach just hasn’t felt complete without stopping at Sharky’s, getting our family picture taken, and making those memories together. This year, unfortunately, it just didn’t give us quite the same feeling it has in the past. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a place worth visiting — because it absolutely is! It has such a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with the beach right there, volleyball, two different playgrounds, a gift shop, tons of seating, live music, and a bar for the adults. It really has everything, and it gives you that classic Panama City Beach vibe. They also have church on Sundays, which I thought was a really nice touch. The food was great, and we had no complaints there. It was pretty busy when we went, so the service wasn’t the best, but honestly, that’s understandable when a place is packed. They also have photographers walking around taking family photos, which is something we’ve always loved doing when we visit. We usually get our family picture taken at Sharky’s every time we come to Panama City. This year, though, we just couldn’t justify spending $50 for one printed photo, so unfortunately we passed on it. That was a little disappointing because those pictures have become part of our family tradition. Overall, I’d still 100% recommend Sharky’s if you’ve never been. It’s beautiful, fun, family-friendly, and there’s so much to do. This particular visit just didn’t impress us quite as much as it has in previous years, but it will always have a special place in our family memories. 🌴🌊❤️
