Very festive and colorful decor all around, but somewhat disappointing atmosphere. Maybe we went on a slow night, but the energy was just less-than-fun. When the Margaritaville song came on, a disco ball began to drop from the ceiling, but after a few seconds, it retreated back and never spun. Maybe we expected too much fanfare.
Food was good, nothing crazy. Best part was probably the margs. The Mango in Paris marg was incredible—would go back only for that.
Definitely a novelty spot if you’ve never been, but may need to go on the weekend to see it in full force.

Disclaimer, I'm a parrot head. So when I arrived in Panama City Beach in the late AM, but my friend's planes weren't going to arrive until late afternoon, I knew that this restaurant would give me a "license to chill" 😀 while I waited for them. I walked around the greater Pier Park area and did some shopping. Then headed over for lunch. I got to sit in one of the boat tables which was fun. I got the volcano nachos... which were good, but they're not lying when they say "sharables" lol I also did responsible margarita tasting while enjoying the atmosphere and music which is a mix of pop music and Buffet music. I also enjoyed the random disco ball drop with a salt shaker. As a parrot head, it was a nice place to hang out for a few hours. I recommend the seaside margarita, it had a great balance between sweet mixer and the tequila liquor.

It was very loud, our server didn't speak English very well, service was slow for them not being busy. Our server couldn't answer any questions for us without having to go back & ask someone else. My husband asked what kind of bourbon for an old fashion, he didn't know, my husband then asked if they used the single large ice cube, he didn't know but came back & said yes but when the drink was brought to the table it was small ive cubes... not acceptable. I ordered a salad with 1000 island dressing, he came back & said they were out, gave me other options, I chose Italian, he came back & said they were out of that as well. I settled on ranch. Also I specifically asked for no cucumbers & my salad had cucumbers. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. With this being our first trip to Panama city beach & this Margaritaville I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

First time here but probably my last. The location was great. Right near the beach and close to everything. Ordered a margarita and some corn fritters. The fritters were delicious but my margarita was just ok. It was good at first but by the time I got to the bottom, it tasted like a watered down drink. Disappointing for a drink that they charge $13.50 for. I've had better elsewhere for less. Staff was very friendly but server got a little annoying. We spent most of our time fighting off a couple of wasps which she was clearly afraid of. It was an outdoor bar so it's too be expected. Overall it was alright. Typical chain restaurant......the name brings you in but it was a bit overpriced for what they are serving.
The atmosphere was what you would expect for a Margaritaville; lively, noisy, and busy. However, the food and service were absolute garbage.
My daughter and I ordered the mozzarella sticks and a steak dinner to share. The steak was ordered well-done and we got mashed potatoes and french fries as our sides. The mozarella sticks were fine, but the steak was brought to our table with redish pink juice obviously seeping from it, which then saturated the side of fries, which were the only side we received. When the man laid the plate down I let him know that we didn't have any utensils and he proceeded to walk away, never returning. Our waters were not brought to the table, nor were our utensils. I went and found a waitress and let her know that we were missing our utensils, that we didn't receive the mashed potatoes, and that the steak wasn't well-done. She took the plate and said, "Well, we can't put it back on the grill, so it will be a while." She did tell us that she would refresh the french fries since she acknowledged that they were saturated from the liquid coming from the steak that looked obviously like blood.
When they returned with the remade steak, they only brought mashed potatoes.
Ultimately, after having to track the waitress down numerous times, we did get the fries and the utensils, but the steak still wasn't done. The outer edge was, which my daughter did eat, but the middle of the steak was still very, very pink and not something that either of us would eat. The price was outrageous for what we received - both service and food. I wouldn't recommend anyone visit this establishment.
Also, to note: I tried reaching out to the restaurant about this and they have not responded. I also filled out the contact form on the website and they have not responded.
