  I wanted grouper and they were out. I switched and ordered a $30 dish and it was worth maybe $10. The fish was subpar, shrimp tasted stale and/or freezer burnt, mashed potatoes were A+, and the app of oysters were expensive but tasty. The staff were visibly frustrated by whoever was in the kitchen. It was very slow service. Overall, disappointing considering how excited our family was to eat here.

  Absolutely wonderful experience here Jacob was great , atmosphere was so laid back and the live band was excellent as well, I highly recommend this place when visiting PCB , we come 2-3 times a year and have never came ,we definitely missed out, everyone was so friendly JACOB I can't say enough about his service it was exceptional, me and my wife had a excellent amazing time

  Don’t come here! Food is overpriced and not much to choose from also they charge you 28 to use a debit card on top of your bill then charge for”entertainment “ that’s complete bullshit dude plays 3 songs so basically your charged for sitting at the tables so it’s an extra 40 on your bill without your knowledge and they don’t warn you about debit cards either I was so disappointed but I see why they were so empty with no wait

  I come to eat dinner with my family, not have to yell over people who cant sing because they like to offer karaoke. Food was terrible, took 20 minutes before a waitress even came to our table to ask our drink order then an additional 20 minutes to bring our drinks. Was out first time ever being there and it was such a huge let down for the way they have things priced. Definitely NOT worth your money.

  We ordered Hammerhead Fred’s as takeout while we were staying in Panama City Beach and brought it back to our Airbnb, and everything was great. Even after the drive back, the food was still hot, fresh, and well-packaged, which is always a big plus when ordering a larger meal to-go. We ordered a little bit of everything — seafood gumbo, popcorn shrimp, blackened chicken tacos, bang bang tacos, a Captain’s Platter, swamp bites, strawberry shortcake, and key lime pie. Everything traveled really well and still tasted fresh by the time we sat down to eat. The seafood had good flavor, the portions were solid, and the sides were good too. It was one of those meals where everyone was able to find something they enjoyed. The desserts were also a nice surprise. The key lime pie and strawberry shortcake were both great and made the meal feel like more than just a quick takeout order. It was a bit pricey, but honestly, that seemed to be the case with just about everything in Panama City Beach. For the amount of food we ordered and the quality we received, we were happy with it. The fact that everything was still hot and tasted fresh after getting it back to the Airbnb made a big difference. Overall, Hammerhead Fred’s was a really good experience for us. It was convenient, the food was fresh, the order was handled well, and it made for an easy, enjoyable dinner after a long day. We would definitely order from them again next time we are in Panama City Beach.
