  The crab legs are really good and it's only worth it if you are eating crab legs. All the other items are not really with it and it's around $60+ per person so be sure to eat as much crab legs as you can to make your money's worth. Our waitress was super attentive to us and helpful as well.

  If you’re going for the crab legs, this is the place to go. They keep them coming quickly, and they are steamed perfectly. These aren’t those skimpy little legs you get at other restaurants. It is snow, crab, and they are big ones. It will be busy, so be prepared. Other items on the buffet are good. Salad bar reminds me of Shoneys, which is what I like. The steak is not of top quality, but again, everything else is pretty good. I definitely ate my moneys worth on the crab legs.

  Honestly quite disappointed. Visiting from out of state and was excited to treat my husband to some fresh, quality seafood. Advertised as a family restaurant. Which meant to us it'd be likely there would be a selection of non seafood, kid friendly options. Not the case. The buffet it tiny. They offer salad a seafood. That's it. If you do not like seafood or have kids that may be a lil picky. DO NOT EAT HERE. The offered boiled "ribeye" steak that was not Ribeye. Pre packaged Mac n cheese and spaghetti that wasn't even edible. The price to add the crab legs to your meal is ridiculous. 70 is way too much tor this buffet.

  We’re visiting Panama City Beach from Georgia and had to come back to Captain Jack’s Family Buffet! We ate here on our last trip and enjoyed it so much that we knew we had to return. The food was great, but what I really appreciate about this place is that there’s something for the whole family. Out of my wife and our three kids, only my oldest son and I really like seafood. My wife and our two younger kids don’t, so it’s nice that Captain Jack’s has plenty of non-seafood options for them to enjoy too. Everyone leaves happy and full! As we were leaving, we met Chris, who we found out is the owner Jack’s son. He was extremely friendly and took the time to ask us how everything was and make sure the food was up to par. We told him it absolutely was! Definitely one of the best family buffets we’ve been to and now one of our must-stop places whenever we’re in Panama City Beach. Great food, plenty of options, and great hospitality. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip from Georgia!

  First and foremost, anything read about the service is 100% true...Holly was our waitress and she was amazing! She was patient with my girls and also with each of the adults and their reqiests. Any time we got up from the table, she was right there to make sure we had a clean table space. If one could get full off of service, I would recommend. Now, the food on the other hand..unfortunately I was not impressed. Pro: I enjoyed the salad bar and the crab legs. The crab legs are worth it...steamed to perfection. However, a little seasoning was needed. Cons: Everything else in between was less than desirable. The food was very bland, very processed, not well seasoned and unfortunately not very fresh. The "butter" for the crab legs is similar to the butter that goes on top of movie theatre popcorn. YIKES! When my husband used the salt Shaker, he had to twist the top...nothing but rust under that top. BUT...Holly was on top of it! She gave us a new slat shaker...sans the rust. I'm not entirely sure about some of the other reviews re: the food...I, unfortunately, will likely not return nor will I recommend. $64.95 is a LOT to spend when you're not completely satisfied. At the end of the day, our experience was pleasant. Holly was great. We left with smiles, we just won't be returning.
