I feel like I am kinda a chipotle expert. Grew up in Denver. Went to the first one when there was only one. My first house was by the third one Now is this place as good as they were? No. My best experience in probably the last 10 years? Probably. Or maybe just excited something like this is near by Got a bowl. It was stuffed. Mobile pickup. I t was ready but you could tell it wasn’t sitting around for 30 minutes. The gentleman who gave me my order was polite Negative. Obviously my first time at this location. There isn’t an obvious mobile location to pick up food. Kinda felt like I was cutting the line.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I wanted to give this new Palm City location a chance, but it ended up being one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. When we walked in, every table was dirty and the trash can was overflowing. My wife immediately said we should leave and eat somewhere else, and I really wish I had listened. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet it looked like there was only one employee trying to run the entire front of the store. While we were there, a man came in to drop off a job application and asked to speak with a manager. He was told there wasn’t one there, which was shocking for a brand-new restaurant. We spent almost $50 on three barbacoa burritos and a Honey Chipotle Chicken side. The burritos were cold, soggy, and so poorly rolled they fell apart, and the chicken was ice cold. None of it was edible, and the entire meal ended up in the trash. To make matters worse, I wasn’t given a receipt, never received my rewards points, and no one answered the phone when I tried calling the restaurant afterward. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 25 years, so I understand that opening a new restaurant isn’t easy. But there’s no excuse for cold food, a dirty dining room, no manager on site, and customers leaving with food they can’t even eat. I hope this location improves, but after this experience, I can’t recommend it.

Pretty disappointed in the new Chipotle. Maybe my hopes were just to high for Chipotle to be a cool new spot in Palm City. I asked for a quesadilla and was told, its only available online. Im not kidding. With a straight face even. I have never heard of something so insulting in my entire life. Standing in front of the tortillas and cheese next to the quesadilla press she uttered those words to me. This place just opened. Usually a new place means its going to be generally pretty good at the start before it gets bad. Well, at lunchtime on a wednesday they were out of brown rice for my rice bowl. They were out of pinto beans, only black beans which I dont care for. They were out of Barbacoa meat, and when I asked for what the others were I received the upmost put-out response rattling them all off to a point I really couldn't understand what she even said. The meats looked, and tasted, old. My bowl was half the size of a Chipotle bowl at any Chipotle I have ever been too. This place needs a reset soon or its gonna be another mismanaged dumpster fire of a fast food joint quick.

I understand that this Chipotle just opened, and I try to be understanding because I’ve worked in the food industry myself, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I waited in line for about 15 minutes despite there only being two people ahead of me. There was only one employee actively making food while several other employees appeared to be standing around rather than helping move the line along. One employee clearly saw that customers were waiting but continued walking back and forth without offering any assistance. It was frustrating was that I wasn’t informed about unavailable items before ordering. Halfway through making my bowl, I was told they were out of cheese. They were also running very low on rice, so I received only a small portion. It would have been helpful if customers had been informed about these shortages before reaching the front of the line. I understand that opening a new location can come with challenges, but this was insanely disappointing. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disorganized restaurant experiences I’ve had.

You know when you’re the owner of business and it’s your first day opening and your employees mess everything up for you if you have someone there on your first day open, you know everyone there on the first day 99% of them are the people waiting for it to open in their small town like Palm City And then when you get three little chunks of steak on your taco and you say you know, what can you please put some more on there because those three little chunks are just not gonna do it especially when you’re someone like me who only gets like one topping some sour cream cheese and that’s it And then when you get to the register for the correct amount of steak after they put extra, but it’s really just a regular amount they charge You more than half as much as the entire meal so your three tacos now cost $20 with no drink. Yeah I’m good. I’ll just drive to Stuart from now on you guys on a grand opening day getting bad reviews crazy.
