  We had Jeff for our server, very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed Larry and the girls, awesome as ever. The food was delicious. My favorite is coconut shrimp. We also appreciate it. The valet parking, Alexander is so sweet and personable. Such a nice guy. This is a wonderful place to go and dance and enjoy fun times with friends and even strangers.☺️

  This was my first time at The Islander, and it was such a wonderful night! My husband had moved to the area a couple of months before I joined him, and during that time, he discovered The Islander and absolutely raved about it—especially the crunchy grouper sandwich. He couldn’t wait to bring me once I arrived, so this was our first visit there together as a couple. Needless to say, it more than lived up to his recommendation! ❤️ My husband, of course, had his favorite crunchy grouper sandwich, while I decided to try the burger, which was delicious. We also shared the Brussels sprouts appetizer, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely something I would order again. The atmosphere made the evening even better. We were able to get a table where we could relax and enjoy the live music, which was so much fun. And I have to give a special mention to my frozen mudslide—it was fantastic and the perfect drink for an island evening! 🍹🎶 Our waiter, Dave, was personable, friendly, and attentive throughout the night. We were also really impressed that the manager stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was going well. That kind of personal attention really makes you feel welcome. The Islander more than lived up to everything my husband had been telling me about it! Even though this was our first visit there together, I have a feeling it will become one of our regular spots. Thank you, Dave and the entire Islander team, for such a great night. We’ll definitely be back! 🌴❤️🍔🍹

  Stayed for a night away. We tried the islander grill and tiki bar. It was a big disappointment. Very outdated in every way. An employee at a nearby table talking loudly on speaker phone at the table. The food was bland and over priced. However our server was very attentive and nice.

  While staying at a local luxury resort, an oddly timed event had us seeking dinner off campus. Somehow we landed on the tiki restaurant and it did not disappoint! The food was great, Pam and Dave were performing live, just a great spot. We were served by the wonderful Gregory who read our minds and kept our drinks coming. Wings were hot, crispy, moist and flavorful. Eating the blueberry cheescake in bed as I write this review. Bravo!

  You have to valet park for the restaurant, which is not mentioned. We had a rude valet man greet us to explain, but our experience improved immediately upon entering the hotel. We were warmly welcomed with a friendly greeting. The hotel lobby was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated as we walked to the restaurant. As soon as we sat down, Skip, our server, quickly took our order. We started with calamari, followed by 8-oz filet mignon and a half-pound lobster, which was on the Thursday night special. Everything except the calamari was excellent! Skip did take that off the bill for us. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the loaded baked potato with sautéed spinach and big chunks of garlic. It was absolutely delicious! Since we couldn’t fit dessert, we opted for Togo’s key lime pie. I would recommend adding whipped cream to the pie, but that’s a minor complaint compared to the overall delicious meal. My cousin, who had the lobster, said she would definitely return just for the Thursday lobster special. The menu was reasonably priced, and we look forward to our next visit. Oh, and can’t forget about the entertainment! Pam and Dave were a great vibe.
