- ABAustin BrownJun 27, 20261.0Never thought I’d write a bad review about Chick Fil A. I ordered breakfast through the mobile app at 10:00am. I get ready, leave and arrive by 10:39am. Note, this is 9 minutes past when breakfast ends. I realize in the app there is a button to confirm “I have arrived at the restaurant”. Apparently, they do not start on your order until you confirm in the app. I receive an error to speak with customer service when I arrive. Customer service informs me they cannot make my breakfast order and offers to either refund me or exchange my food. I asked for a refund. After a few minutes, their manager Igor comes out to process my refund. He did not know how to process this refund since it was from the mobile app. No problem, let’s do an exchange. I order a chicken deluxe sandwich meal. He attempts to leave and make the food. Here’s the problem, my breakfast order was $20. The chicken sandwich meal is $11. Not equivalent value. I have to tell him to come back and explain. At this point, we are both annoyed. He offers to make two meals and leaves. The whole exchange was entirely complicated for everyone involved and all caused by ordering through the app. Orders in the app need to be made as soon as possible when placed or have an option to schedule for a certain time. I was not at all pleased with the interaction and was very unsatisfied by the time we reached an end result.
