What the hell happened to this place? It used to be my go-to and I would always refer new residents who asked for authentic Mexican food. I went with what I always ordered, which were the street tacos. The meat was nowhere near authentic, like it used to be, and the tortillas were so wet you couldn't pick up the taco. Dry, flavorless and disappointing. The three who joined me never been there. They all ordered different items and equally agreed that we were spending way too much money for whatever quality they're trying to achieve. The prices are insane for what they serve. Our server was a joke. When we asked questions, she just looked at us with a blank stare because she could not speak one word of English and if you're going to have different nationalities visit your establishment, it would be nice to have at least someone who speaks enough English to communicate the menu. Very disappointing to a Mexican family. If we would have paid half price, I still would have been upset. When speaking about the place with others who have frequented it in the past, they said I should have told them I was going there and they would have told me to stay away. As a matter of fact, when we were walking to the car, one of our family members was exclaiming of how they would never return. A gentleman who exited a neighboring business overheard the comment and proceeded to agree with everything we said. It's honestly and truly sad. You think the food would have been a little more fresh considering we were only one of two tables in there during lunch hour. That place used to be packed anytime I went. My grandparents are from San Luis potosi, so we were raised with authentic Mexican food and know what it should taste like. I gave the atmosphere two stars because I feel bad for them. Just a little food for thought, look at the last names of the people giving 5-star reviews. Either they were given that last name, or there's not a Mexican in the family. I highly doubt the smiths, williamsons, Langer's or the Johnson's have any idea. ✌🏼
