I understand we just opened but the leader or trainer...whoever it is... need to be next to the cashier if shes struggling that much. She totally placed the wrong sandwich instead of what I wanted, i wanted a honey bbq chicken sandwhich and she rung up hot honey. Then another burger, I said I only want mayo, ketchup, and mustard on the burger triple cheese burger. She said so plain, and I said well yeah but I want the sauces and she goes yeah got it. CAME PLAIN WITH NOTHING ON IT. NO SAUCE. and i guess she thought I meant a triple cheese burger as in triple the cheese.. nah girl the menu says triple cheese burger and that means 3 patties cause yes I'm a big back. So I was shorted patties? Idk what happened tbh. But she's taking the orders too slow and I waited too long for yall to misunderstand and make my both sandwhiches wrong. And then when I go inside and tell someone I was rung up for a hot honey instead of honey bbq sandwhich... he's like can I just get you the honey bbq. I said sure. He then hands me sauce and a cookie and says sorry. OHHH you meant can you just hand me sauce and not remake the sandwich that has pepper cheese I didn't want? Well at least i got a free cookie. Idk yall. Ball was dropped. But the food quality is good... just the accuracy is off... even after them already being slow.
I'm so excited to have a Whataburger in Orlando, it’s literally my favorite! I lived in Texas for many years and also had one in Jacksonville, so I was eager to get here today around 2 PM. The drive thru wasn't crazy, they moved rather quickly which really depended on the customer trying to order. Everything was delicious. My only change would be adding a bit more pimento cheese to the new sandwich. I always get my usual, which is a patty melt, that was delicious. But tried the limited item as well, crispy chicken, and it was great, but I believe the condiments, like the hot honey sauce and the pimento cheese spread, could’ve been a little more generous. Last note I did not get my spicy ketchups or a straw, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be working out those tiny little mishaps. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Just so you know, I’m a super fan, I have a tote, a lunchbox, a cup, a keychain, and a sticker, almost all things Whataburger so could this review could be a bit biased but nevertheless true.
First time I have been here since I was a kid going to Ft Christmas and St Augustine when I was a kid and I don't really remember it. Holy shit, I can see why the line was around the building and down the road, and the terrible Mcdonalds next door was completely dead.
This is by far the best fast food burger (I define fast food as with a drive thru) I've had to date. It tasted like real meat and a toasted bun was absolujtely perfection. The burger was about 15% bigger size of a Sonic's burger, who typically has bigger burgers to begin with. The fries actually tasted like potatoes, perfectly seasoned and crispy to perfection. I also wanted to try each of their sauces with their chicken strips, which were also crispy and way better than any drive-thru tender, and all the sauces were absolutely unbelievable. My fatass absolutely loved the honey butter dip, and it was definitely the best honey mustard around hands down. The spicy ketchup I can see why is so infamous and the sweet chili sauce blew me away.
All I can say is, damn, I wish it was closer.
So glad you guys have returned to Orlando. I look forward to your expansion.

I have photos of the remake with the purposeful mistakes. Google won't let me add them
It was not a good experience. We ordered through the drive thru and they got the order wrong. I checked one of the kids meal (they wanted to eat it on the way home) and it had lettuce and tomatoes and onion after we asked for none. I went back in and they "fixed" it. At that point we told the kids we'll just eat it at home. When we got home and opened the kids burger that was fixed, it still had chuncks of onion. They had wiped it off and put it back on.
The rest of the food, which we requested no mayo and no lettuce, they still had it.
We called and they said they would fix it.
We went back to the restaurant and waited to get in. They said they would remake the order. The drinks were flat and I let him know. The manager said they asked the person before and after us and they were told the drinks were fine. I asked him why they would even ask them prior to us coming in if there was no issues with the machine?
I get the food and go home. We just opened it and they put even more lettuce and a piece of lettuce on each Item, burgers and wraps.
The fanily members that had their meals messed up have sensory issue/ autism and can not eat their meal, it wasn't us being difficult customers, we wanted to enjoy our meals.
Went to Whataburger for the FIRST TIME EVER and baby… what an experience, and NOT in a good way.
First, I’m told I need to already know what I want because I basically don’t have time to look at the menu because “it’s going to take a while.” EXCUSE ME??? How exactly am I supposed to know what I want when I HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?! Am I supposed to study the Whataburger menu and take a final exam before entering the drive-thru???
Then I finally get to the ordering box and simply ask, “Can I have a second?” Apparently THAT was enough for the manager to decide I was “coming off rude.” Now we’re going back and forth about MY VOICE. Sir…… this is the same voice I have had for 30+ YEARS. I’m not sure what you would like me to do—return it and request a softer model?!
I came for a BURGER. I did not come for a personality assessment, a tone evaluation, or an argument with management over how my natural voice sounds.
For my very first Whataburger experience, 0/10. I hadn’t even figured out what sauce I wanted and somehow we were already in conflict.
