  This was an unexpectedly lovely meal (which says a lot coming from a vegetarian!) Everything seemed nice and clean, including the ladies room. Even the drinking water and ice were well-filtered. I appreciated our server going over the vegetarian options with me, and in the end, allowed me to select the kids meal. The mozzarella triangles were delicious and a very decent portion, and the green beans were surprisingly tasty and crisp, not soggy (definitely more exciting than the steamed broccoli, IMHO :)). I was told the steak was quite good, and the mashed potatoes and cesaer salad were also tasty. The fried asparagus was so good that our friends ordered a second plate. We were too full to try dessert, but I was told the strawberry cheesecake was phenomenal. The festive margarita was fun, but beware of drinking from the rim, as the black sugar discolors the lips...lol There is an art to popping open the eyeball garnish to get to the gummy inside the casing. The old fashioned was also quite good. The complimentary bread is tender and delicious. We had a toddler and infant with us, so it is kid friendly. And the table next to us had a child in a high chair. The hostesses were very nice. But should just be a bit more cognizant. For example seating 7 of us at a table for 4, and not bringing us kids menus when there was a child with us. Not a big deal by any means (mistakes happen!), but just a way to improve service. It was a fantastic experience and we're looking forward to another visit when we're in the area. Keep up the great work :)

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing dinner experience tonight, and Edisson played a huge part in making it so special\. From the moment he attended to our table, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive\. His recommendations were absolutely on point and guided us toward dishes that made our dinner truly memorable\. Everything was excellent, and his knowledge and genuine desire to make sure we enjoyed our evening really stood out\. Thank you, Edisson, for turning a great dinner into a wonderful experience\. Exceptional service from beginning to end\. We will definitely be back\!

  Our waiter was absolutely amazing from start to finish! He was so friendly, bubbly, and welcoming, and honestly had the best personality. We were a little bit of a mess that day 😂 between traveling, having our 1-year-old with us, and just trying to figure everything out, but he was incredibly patient and understanding with us the entire time. He was also so helpful when we were asking about the area. He gave us both the good AND the not-so-good information, which we really appreciated because it felt like we were getting honest advice rather than someone just trying to make everything sound perfect. He took the time to actually talk with us, answer our questions, and make us feel comfortable. And the FOOD… absolutely delicious!! 🤤 We were seriously impressed. Everything we ordered was so good that we were still talking about the food DAYS later after leaving Florida and coming all the way back home to New York! 😂 That says a lot because we definitely don’t stop talking about food unless it was REALLY good! It was such a great experience overall, and our waiter definitely made it even better. Good food, great service, and someone who genuinely made us feel welcome while we were visiting the area. We would absolutely come back again the next time we’re in Florida! ❤️🌴🍽️

  As soon we got in we were cordially and respectfully greeted by the the host... Got seated right away and the atmosphere is so cool ..it has some cool vibe and history to it..😁 The moment the signature loaf of bread came in we new were for a good start. Food was excellent cook to perfection ..compliments to the chef..😃 Last but not least we would like to give thanks wonderful server by the name Sam K. Exceptional service, respectful, kind and very efficient ..Thank you so much Sam K.😉 We were visiting from the Island of Aruba Were recommended by my Brother Ivan Kely. We also highly recommend it..   Very disappointing experience – unfortunately we won’t be returning I visited Saltgrass on I-Drive on Sunday 6th September, having previously had a great experience there. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. When we arrived, we were advised there would be a 30-minute wait, which was absolutely fine. We provided our phone number and waited to be notified when our table was ready. Once we received the message, we returned to the restaurant, only to be told that our table had been given to another party. We were then asked to wait longer, despite having already been notified that our table was ready. We were offered a high-top table, which we declined as we had come for a sit-down meal and wanted to be comfortable. After another 10 minutes, we were finally seated. Our server, Julie, took our drinks and food orders. We were told the fresh bread would take around 4–5 minutes, but we waited approximately 10 minutes. When it arrived, it was placed on the table while the server was speaking to another table, which didn’t feel particularly attentive. The food service was also disappointing. Two meals had sweet potato fries that were not up to standard, so a separate plate of fries was brought out. We had also ordered two soups which had still not arrived. When we mentioned this, we were told they were on their way and that they would be removed from the bill. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was with the steaks. Both myself and my friend ordered medium-well steaks, but both arrived significantly undercooked. I asked Julie if I could have a fresh steak, as mine was not cooked to the requested standard. The steaks were taken away, and we were under the impression that fresh steaks would be prepared. Instead, the same steaks were returned to the table after being recooked, and they were now severely burnt. At this point, we decided we no longer wanted the steaks and asked for them to be removed from the bill, which was agreed to. I would like to mention it was sirloin steak we both ordered. The experience at the end of the meal was particularly disappointing. When paying, I chose not to leave a tip because of the overall experience. Instead of accepting this, our server became rude and abrupt and told me that I needed to tip because the issue was the kitchen’s fault. She then told me, “Well, I have to pay for your meal out of my tips.” I felt extremely uncomfortable being pressured into leaving a tip after such a poor experience, and I eventually left $1. When my friend went to pay, the situation became even more uncomfortable. Our server took his phone from his hand to make the Apple Pay payment and then said, “I hope you will tip me more since I’m paying for your meal.” He also left a $1 tip simply because we felt uncomfortable with the situation. We decided to leave rather than prolong the situation, as the atmosphere had become very unpleasant. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We have visited Saltgrass previously and had a fantastic meal, which makes this visit even more disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning. I hope management takes the feedback seriously, particularly regarding the handling of the reservation, the food quality and, most importantly, the way customers are made to feel when choosing how much to tip.
